He had to listen to the negative recruiting about Oxford/Ole Miss. When he realized it was not how it was portrayed to him we became a real factor. It happens all the time when we get big out of state recruits on OV's.

WG- yes I think he can sustain this level of recruiting. He's a tireless worker. Also getting rid of Pete Boone and getting Ross Bjork changed the way we were able to operate

The real time we became a factor was when Tunsil and Nkemdiche started talking. Then Freeze was able to get him on campus. All HF needs is his foot in the door.

Has Ole Miss recruited Tunsil as long as UGA and Bama? No. Once Hugh Freeze was hired he targeted him and that's when it began. So technically, no, Ole Miss has not recruited him as long as the others due to the coaching change. However, since Hugh Freeze was hired, Ole Miss has recruited Tunsil just "as much" as UGA/Bama. Due to NCAA recruiting rules, that is FACT.
Again, it's still my opinion that on Feb 6th he will ink with UGA. But dont fool yourself into thinking that Ole Miss just jumped in the picture the last 2 weeks because that's simply not the case, Ole Miss has worked their tails off recruiting him.

Tunsil had a great time last weekend and his Mom loved Oxford. It's no secret Tunsil also wasn't blown away with T-town.
Ole Miss promotes the town of Oxford as a safe haven for football players - it's a lot smaller than Athens or Ttown. Parents love that shite.
Tunsil has also been around Treadwell, Nkemdiche, Daniel, Conner, etc at the high school all star games. Nkemdiche is the pied piper - if a top recruit sees he likes Ole Miss, it has gotten us in the door.
In the past, it would be a struggle just to get guys like Tunsil to even visit to see campus. RN and Treadwell liking Ole Miss has opened eyes to other recruits.
I've said all along about Tunsil - if he liked UGA so much, why would he not just commit and get it over with? He's obviously not a big hype kid looking for attention.

Why is this so hard to understand?? I know a few folks in the Grayson area and they told me that RN was going to Ole Miss months ago. They have built off of this with all of the other guys. 18 year olds view Ole Miss as an up and coming power. These are the kids that play with Oregon on the XBOX. This is how they view Ole Miss. It is up tempo and they are fresh. Its not cheating anymore than bama or us. They are the hot team. In my opinion I think Tunsil still goes to UGA but I understand if he does not. The UGA and BAMA pressure hass been there for so long and might be easy to do something different. Also, I really think we are seeinng the beginning of a new S E C. Texas A&M and Ole Miss are going to take over for the traditional power teams. Miles and Richt in my opinion are a thing of the past and this is evident in the recruits eyes.

It's hard to take some of these Georgia posters seriously. Crying over a recruit not signing with them. If it happens, it happens. Some of the posters around here need to grow up. Freeze and Ole Miss have been pursuing Tunsil hard, as has Alabama and Georgia. If the kid had a blast on his OV and wants to sign with the #1 kid in the nation and some other good guys, so be it. I didn't know he had made such a rapport with some studs at Georgia, that may be all it takes to sway a 18 year old kid.

One thing that can be said for sure is there will be some calls made to Indianapolis by some pissed off coaches who got their toes stepped on. That's a staple of sec recruiting.
