I really don't think he's playing a game. I think he genuinely likes both schools and feels he has a tough decision to make. He really can't make a bad decision here. He gets to pick between 2 top 5 programs and it's a tough decision for him.
IMO, he really can't go wrong either way.

Did McKnight going to USC come out of nowhere or was it considered 50/50 or so? Didn't really follow recruiting back then, certainly not LSU recruiting.
I can't even remember how confident some Alabama people were about Randle.

No Memphis it will be a thousands times worse than McKnight. There were alot of LSU fans who new McKight was leaving. I dont think there are very many that think that about Landon. It will be nutz if he goes to Bama

it was 50/50 but there was some late chatter that Joe was gonna pick LSU, so right when LSU fans started getting excited he dropped the bomb.
I remember some cat on TB that claimed Joe Mcks grandfather was his landscape guy and that he had Joe Mck sign a football and write geaux tigers on it and his grandfather would give him update when he would come cut his grass and shite. HE claimed he was gonna choose LSU.
Hanagriff was calling out all the LSU fans at the recruiting bash for whining and moaning all day because mcknight chose USC earlier that morning. Then you had all the LSU fans wanting the NCAA to investigate because of Joe's comments about him hanging out with Reggie Bush during his recruitment.

If LC chooses bama it will be bad. Real bad. Not from me personally, but as a whole, the McKnight situation wouldn't come close to comparing.
And McKnight was the worst to date.
The thought of saban and bama taking our top dog from under us when we are #1 will have some overreacting douchebags jumping out of windows.
