Not sour grapes on my end, Florida seems to be the most logical choice to me. Really liked that freshman class last year and Mann and Lewis should help out obviously as well. Tennessee needed him probably most and Barnes and English just struck out.
Just relaying what I was told. I don’t know anyone with UF connections or anyone with connections to Blackshear. I just have a close indirect UT contact and I also know someone pretty well on Muss’s new staff at Arkansas who wasn’t with him at Nevada and he told me Muss’s feeling on the deal was that the kid wanted to stay at Va Tech, dad wanted UF and mom wanted Tennessee. He tried pitching Arkansas as the compromise choice and that obviously didn’t work. As I said Tennessee knew they were out on Monday, as a result they’re in huge trouble in the front court this year.

Nice coup for UF, could be the favorite in the SEC next season now that the big man spot is solidified.

This is going to be a very fun team to watch. Mike White has done a great job assembling this team. Can’t wait for the season to start.

Started this thread a month ago, and I'm just now catching up on all this. What a ridiculous transfer timeline. I counted 6 schools that were "leading".
