Football games?
We didn't expect much of anything our first few years in the conference; yet we've finished among the top 25 teams in the nation.
As far as new beginnings go, I'll take that any day.
Baby steps.

Is this really coming from a fan of the same school that had to back out of playing A&M because they were tired of getting their arse kicked?
Acting like A&M isn't on the right track or building steam as a program is asinine, ridiculous and ignorant at best. It speaks to your intelligence more than anything about either program.

LSU has like a 23-5 record over the last twenty eight football games against the aggies so don't act like it didn't benefit your program taking us off your schedule. Especially since 2000

Any fan who relegates any SEC team to "always" being [top of the mountain/middle of the pack/bottom feeder] strikes me as someone who is either (a) very youthful, (b) misguided, and/or (c) just plain uninformed.
Things change. Program success is cyclical. Don't be so quick to prognosticate "forever."

LSU is 4-6 in the last 10
LSU is 7-8 in the last 15
Anything before that precedes the home and home series (all games were in BR) and most posters lifetimes (and probably the lifetime of a few recruits parents). You'd have to be counting games back into the 60s for LSU just to get to 10 wins vs A&M
But don't let the facts get in the way of a good meltdown
