Ultimately, though, Bryant said his decision will come down to two major factors: relationships and the bigger picture beyond football.
“The biggest thing I've been saying is that everybody is looking at this as a one-year thing — which it is from an athletic standpoint — but it's not just for one year,” Bryant said. “This is a lifetime decision. Just looking at somewhere I can see myself coming back to, to the university, and pouring into younger guys — eventually may live here and settle down. Those have been the biggest two things. This is a lifetime decision, and also the relationship with the players and coaching staff as well.”
The next 48 hours will be busy, he said, but he will take the time to sit down with his family, go over pros and cons of each of his five finalists and weigh his options. Then, on Tuesday, he will announce his decision.
The article that I got this from also said that he shot down a rumor that it was down to Mizzou and Auburn.

So Auburn, Arkansas, Mississippi State, Missouri and North Carolina?
"Yes sir. All of those."

Haha I remember how he's been a "lock" after visiting each school. Tbh I haven't heard much about him & Arkansas, but the relationships thing points to Arkansas. Plus Chad's birthday. I still won't believe it though until it happens. I still say Auburn.

Miss St fans are being sold bad info so they'll buy message board subscriptions.
Our mod throughout the entire process has prefaced every comment with, "I haven't talked to Bryant directly only his own high school coach, Bryant doesn't talk to media." and also says "I have no read on Bryant at all."
They report what they hear but throughout the entire process they are transparent anything could happen.
Paul is one of the best in the buisness when it comes to trust worthyness. He doesn't sell BS for subs, tells it like it is.

Mississippi State will have an in home visit with Kelly Bryant and his family tomorrow evening! Fact!

Why do you think he lied to the 9 reporters that he talked to today when he gave this quote?
quote:
According to Bryant, no college staffs will visit him between Sunday and when he announces Tuesday. Several schools saw him last week. "This is it -- this is it," Bryant said.

Nothing indicates he is coming to MSU except you. You gone be rustled.

It's gonna be auburn. Once he changed Miami visit to auburn, it was over. Auburn doesn't lose these battles

Sounds like it will be Arky due to the relationship with Morros and wanting to come back and coach with the team. He has to know this will be Malzahns last season, so the "coming back part" wouldn't make sense

Auburn replacing too many.
Every QB outside of Cam (who would have gone pro no matter where he was at) has regressed under Gus.
Little Pigs have nothing to offer him
Mizzou and Ms ST are the 2 teams and Ms St, regardless of what you think, has their in home tonight.
Does that mean he will go with MSU? Maybe, Maybe not.

Just had an alert on my phone about an article. It was based on local recruiting guys for each school.
Before reading, this still really gives zero insight because Kelly has said that he wants to land at a nice place with young players and relationships are important. That's why I don't understand this article - having Arkansas at Low. But here it is. And like I've said, I think it's Auburn, but Gus won't be there forever.

ARKANSAS
CONFIDENCE LEVEL: LOW
"One of the big reasons for Arkansas' struggles this year was simply not having reliable play at quarterback, much less having a playmaker there. Bryant would bring all that to Arkansas and make a big difference not just in that year but in terms of helping rebuild the culture in Fayetteville. The hope for the future at QB will come out of the freshman class next season, so adding a guy like Bryant for one year would be huge for the Hogs. Arkansas got into the mix for him because of the relationship he has with Chad Morris, who recruited him to Clemson in the first place. Several Razorback coaches, including Morris and offensive coordinator Joe Craddock, did their final in-home visit with Bryant this past Thursday. All went well, but Arkansas had a really bad finish to the season that might have hurt their chances. That includes a 52-6 loss at Mississippi State in a game that Bryant attended while on an official visit to Starkville, and a 38-0 loss to a Missouri program that Bryant is also considering. I can't say I like Arkansas' chances at this point, though he would be running virtually the exact same system at Arkansas as he did at Clemson." — Trey Biddy, HawgSports.com
quote:
AUBURN
CONFIDENCE LEVEL: MEDIUM/HIGH
"With Jarrett Stidham almost certainly departing early (he would have to be for Bryant to even consider going to Auburn), the Tigers likely will have very little returning experience at quarterback in 2019. Three players are set to return but only Malik Willis has taken any meaningful college snaps. Touted 2019 recruit Bo Nix will sign in December and be at Auburn the following month but with Gus Malzahn feeling some pressure he’d rather go with more experience in 2019. Bryant would give Auburn a true dual-threat quarterback, something Malzahn has thrived with in recent years. The Tigers hosted Bryant on his final official visit last weekend. By all accounts, that went extremely well. Bryant and his family not only liked the message from the Tigers but he apparently clicked with the current members of the team, which was something of great importance to him. According to our sources, Auburn likes its chances." — Keith Niebuhr, AuburnUndercover
quote:
MISSOURI
CONFIDENCE LEVEL: MEDIUM
"I think there's been a lot of optimism around Missouri for weeks now and sources around Kelly Bryant have felt Mizzou is a contender as well. I believe the Tigers staff is pushing the success Drew Lock had in a first-year system, playing for an offensive coordinator with NFL experience (Derek Dooley) and showing Bryant he'd have the same timeline to learn it and play at a high level. Mizzou can show Bryant they have a balanced offense when you look at where they stack up rushing and passing statistically in the SEC. The Tigers have a lot coming back on offense next fall, just trying to solidify the trigger-man position with Bryant. Everything I've heard is that it will be Auburn or Missouri for Bryant." — Steve Wiltfong, 247Sports
quote:
MISSISSIPPI STATE
CONFIDENCE LEVEL: MEDIUM
"Kelly Bryant has definitely been one that is hard to read with every one of his finalists (except North Carolina) feeling confident about his decision. He officially visited Mississippi State on the weekend of Nov. 17 and did tell us that Mississippi State's offense is a good fit for him and that he likes the coaching resume of Joe Moorhead and the way Moorhead has developed quarterbacks. The Bulldogs have held in-home visits with Bryant and those occurred before his official visit to Mississippi State." — Paul Jones, Gene's Page
quote:
NORTH CAROLINA
CONFIDENCE LEVEL: LOW
"Since Mitch Trubisky left early for the NFL Draft two years ago, UNC hasn't had an answer at the quarterback position. The Tar Heels have two promising freshmen (Cade Fortin and Jace Ruder), but it would be nice for them to spend another year developing while a seasoned ACC passer (i.e. Bryant) takes the reins of the offense. Proximity, familiarity, and a massive amount of returning offensive starters helps UNC's chances, but it's difficult to see Bryant choosing a school where he hasn't developed a relationship with its offensive coordinator. Last Wednesday, Bryant's home became Mack Brown's first recruiting stop as UNC's head coach." — Don Callahan, InsideCarolina

Arkansas has the best relationship with bryant. If he is worried about life after football (which he stated as much in an interview) he will choose morris and CO. He said this decision is not about one year, but the rest of his life.

That's why I don't understand this article - having Arkansas at Low.
Because you don't have any support for Bryant. Ark got their QBs wrecked this season and they have no actionable receivers or run support.
quote:
And like I've said, I think it's Auburn, but Gus won't be there forever.
You do understand KB is a one and done right? Doesn't matter about Gus.
What's being sold right now to Bryant is that Auburn doesn't have the tools this year and loses a lot. That Gus has wrecked several QBS and not improved them, the latest... Stidhamn.
That list is long! Cam is his really only claim and Cam was going no matter where he landed.
Now let's consider some of each..
quote:
Auburn...he apparently clicked with the current members of the team, which was something of great importance to him.
He did so with mizzou and MS ST.. in fact he stated the Ms ST (outside of NC) had the best connection.
quote:
Mizzou can show Bryant they have a balanced offense when you look at where they stack up rushing and passing statistically in the SEC.
This is what Bryant is really looking at. He feels the love from players everywhere... Edge being Ms St.
The run balance... That edge goes to Ms St. They return their top 2 RBs, the OL, and added the 2016 #1 RB who is transferring in.
quote:
and did tell us that Mississippi State's offense is a good fit for him and that he likes the coaching resume of Joe Moorhead and the way Moorhead has developed quarterbacks.
Read that carefully. MS ST also returns a great defense. No other team on his list can boast that.
They add a #2 WR out of JUCO.
They add the former #1 RB
They return the most and the deepest..
And hear this:
THEY HAVE AN IN HOME TONIGHT.

Are you saying that the only way your coach will offer him a job is if he signs with Ark?
Way to SHOW the true love!
