You may be the most short-sighted poster I've ever seen.

How did Ga get put into that first tier ? They were national champs in 1942 and 1980 .

Texas A&M's only national title was in 1939 but yet he puts them up there with Tennessee and Auburn who both have BCS titles.

Arkansas, Miss. St., Ole Miss, Kentucky, Vanderbilt, Missouri, and South Carolina will never win a national championship because they don't have the recruiting base. Alabama, lsu, ga, and Florida are the main first tier contenders, and are a threat to win it any given year because of talent. Auburn, tennessee, and A&M are the next tier with a chance every fifty years. That is the facts folks.
How do you put Georgia in Tier 1 over Auburn?
Auburn has been very close 4 times since Georgia won a national championship. They won a championship once and got screwed two other times.

I actually agree with this. We married up with Petrino just like we did with Holtz. Hopefully we don't frick it up with him like we did with Lou.
Arkansas can always hire another top coach. I'm always for hiring a proven coach and showing him the money instead of taking a risk on an up-and-comer. I was pissed when Auburn hired Chizik. So far it has worked out well.

By your way of thinking, I guess that Vand has passed Tenn since they beat them last year and had the better record.
Tennessee hasn't lost to Vandy since '05. We will never be below Vandy. I will let Kentucky talk shite, I know I would after losing 26 straight.

Georgia is in the top tier simply because of its immense talent base. They have made poor coaching hires which have hurt them. But there is no denying the talent in that state. Just think about the guys that got away such as Cam Newton, Jamal Lewis, Takeo Spikes, Charlie Ward, Deon Grant, and Ronnie Brown to name a few. Being the dominant program in the state and with Atlanta's growth, they have more upside than almost any program in the country. They are the proverbial sleeping giant. I pray that Richt stays, as he is just good enough to get them beat.

I count three times that Auburn had a beef, including 83, 93, and 04. That being said, until Cam and Fairly, Auburn was always the bridesmaid.

I counted 4 times because I was counting the NC.
NCs are overrated as long as their unfair.

A&M has the population growth of Texas, so they are definitely a threat. More four star players come out of Houston alone than Arkansas. With the right hire, the program will take off. I hope this new coach continues their streak of underachievers, but eventually they are bound to get it right.

Saban, Spurrier, and Pete Carroll all had losing records in the NFL where they were coaching against equal talent. They are not great coaches, just had good recruiting situations when coaching at college level (spurrier at Florida). It is easy to look like a great coach when your five stars beat their three stars. In college football, the teams with the strongest recruiting bases will consistently win. The rich get richer.

Your posts just keep getting worse and worse. Probably time to stop while you're behind.
(Oh, you forgot Petrino in your little list up there)

My bad Nukem, I knew ya'll lost to somebody you almost never lose to, I thought it was Vand, instead of Kent, my bad.

I didn't include Petrino because he has never won a championship. For the record, I am an Auburn grad, and a realist....goodnight and goodbye.

So Petrino isn't a good coach because he hasn't won a championship?

Or, by his logic, Petrino is a good coach because he hasn't won a championship
