Yeah, he already is after his first year. He’s basically turned over the roster. The only Mario guys left after this cycle are wanted.

Dan Lanning was a GREAT hire by Oregon. He's the real deal and the players love him. Very good recruiter but a better coach than Mario.
Lanning just needs to stop going for it on 4th & short on the minus side of the field.

This is a devastating loss for Gamecocks defense. Where in the world will we find another DE that can avg 1.5 sacks a year, for 3 years, like Burch did?

Apparently he had 29 qb hurries last year, which was 2nd best in the SEC.
At worst it seems he is really good against the run with a decent pass rush. Lanning thinks he should be lighter.
Anyway, he upgrades the Ducks defensely.

Watching him in person that would be a No. He sucks at run support and holding the edge. Dude has all the physical talent but no competitive spirit at all.
