You don't really believe that do you? Georgia could barely stay on the field with LSU. I know they have an easy schedule but I doubt you win the East this year.

Reminds me of what everybody said about our loss to auburn last year.

Our qb missed open tds and our coach made an inexplicable decision to fake a kick after one of those missed td passes.

Isnt that the difference between good / bad teams?? Good teams make those plays and their HCs dont frick up

Yes it is. Fromm often hits those passes but he struggles to do that in tough road environments. Kirby also usually lets our kicker kick, but this one time he got super stupid.

The play before that fake fg involved a bad pass by Fromm and an uncalled pass int on the db who “made the play”. It was the ultimate screw up combo situation. Qb, refs, and coach all messed up.

Rumor on the LSU board that Emery was on campus last night.
Edit: also, Dell McGee was in South Florida Thursday night watching Nayquan Smith. No doubt scouting backup plans for Emery.

I wouldn't read too much into this. We are leaning on taking another RB this year for insurance. White tearing two ACL's in two years has the coaching staff thinking about taking a second RB.
ETA
Are you thinking about Nay'Quan Wright?
If that is who you are talking about I would say he would be the second back we take. We like to take one big bruiser (Chubb, for instance) along with one APB smaller/speed types (Sony Michel)
Last year it was White and Cook.

Maybe because he was running for his life. Maybe?

Yeah. That's who I meant. I had a brain cramp.

So Wright is your backup plan for Emery and you might take a second bigger back, right?
You think McGee is still working on Tyrion Davis?

I mean... HT is an idiot but it's not like this is a super hottake...
Not saying it's a lock by any means, but it would be a bigger surprise for LSU to win the West in the next 2 years than UGA to win the East, no?
It's also nearly meaningless while UT is in full rebuilding mode and UF it's still getting their sea legs underneath them in the Mullen era without much in the way of QB talent yet. Still gonna be a battle in Jax I'm sure.

He had time to make those throws.

Happens to me all the time. Almost a perpetual state, you might say!

No. I actually think our coaches believe Emery is solid and Wright could be the second back. We are also looking at a kid from Rome, Georgia (same school Adam Anderson came out of), but I honestly haven't heard a whole lot about the second back lately, though.
I think they are working on Davis a bit, but don't think we can pull him and Emery. Now, if Emery flips to LSU all bets are off and I think they go hard after Davis or Noah Cain.
Honestly? Davis is a hoss. I don't think either team could go wrong with either one of those two. (Davis and Emery) If LSU pulls Davis and Cain you will be absolutely loaded.
If Emery flipped to LSU and you managed to hold on to Davis it would be insane. I really think they might be the best RB's in the class along with Trey Sanders.

I've been pretty objective about this kid's recruitment.
I was extremely worried that he was going to commit on the spot when he visited Georgia this summer, and this turned out to be what happened.
Ever since, I have felt it was more and more likely he wouldn't be coming to LSU. A month ago, I probably would have put our chances at less than 10%. But it definitely feels like the tides are turning here. I honestly think it's like 50/50 now.

Maybe. I don't see LSU pulling davis, Emery and Cain, though. I saw an article saying that our coaches feel Emery is solid. Who knows, really? Only time will tell. After LSU beat Georgia, it probably made some kind of impact. A big key for LSU will be your game against Alabama, though. (I don't think single games make that huge of an impact on a recruit, though. now, if Florida and Kentucky beat us, I would get really, really worried)
I believe he is an early enrollee, so time is rapidly running out.

Oh, we're definitely not getting all three. I'll be happy with any 2, but I think Emery is far and away the most dynamic of the bunch.

I'm pretty sure Emery is NOT an ee. Could be wrong though.
