Everybody knows LSU will go 5-7 to 7-5 this year. National Media know, Vegas knows it, SEC media know it. LSU fans are the only people that doesnt know that. You want to talk about product on the field? That's my point. LSU doesnt have the product on field to match State. You have recruiting stars

I guess we should be sad to stockpile highly recruited 4 stars at QB.
So really you're saying there was no need to get that transfer? You were already set??

Burrow is part of those highly recruited 4 stars and is definitely the most experienced

Speaking of future bump worthy posts...
I wonder what your outlook was last year when we ended up 6-2 in conference play

Yes. Yes, I do. Allyn McKeen is the correct answer.

LSU ain't losing 7 games with the defense they'll trot out this year.

I don't believe Brennan will ever be an SEC level qb. However, I'm not on the bandwagon that thinks LSU will certainly have a dismal year. If Burrow works out, LSU can have a good season despite the schedule. If that's the case, LSU will be very hard to beat.

Orgeron still coach. Youre fricked.

I tried to tell LSU fans this when he committed.

Brennan looked pretty good when he played last year, certainly has all the talent in the world. At this point it's just about him bulking up because he still is quite a bit thin at a reported 6'4 193 (but honestly it's probably 180-185ish at best). Burrow buys him time for that, Narcisse was ridiculously good when he last played in high school, hopefully he does end up fully recovering from his ACL injuries because he's got a nice set of skills.

Brennan does not have an SEC arm.

You srs? Arm strength is one his assets for sure. Compared to Etling last year he definitely had a stronger arm.

I don't know what to tell you. His strength has always been quick short passes because that's where his arm is at it's strongest. Anything over 15 yards has way too much air under it. Anything over 30 is a complete lob.

At the Elite 11 they said he had the strongest arm there

Already There; Arm Strength: Pretty excited to see continued growth here as Brennan adds good weight (more on that in a moment), but he’s got a pretty live arm naturally. :24 you can see he gets put in position to release from a bad arm angle and doesn’t really get to step into the throw, but he’s still able to torque his hips and generate power (and accuracy!) on the deep throw down the sideline. Where I really like to see arm strength is on deep sideline tosses. How much juice a QB can get into the ball on those throws will often define his ability at the next two levels. Which is what makes :31 so promising. Brennan’s front foot is on the 31-yard line as he stands perfectly between the hashes. He tosses a deep out dead on the money to the 3-yard line. That’s a good 40+ yard toss on a rope, into a decently well-covered receiver. He’s gifted.
