Still this certain? This really is odd to me, because of how convinced some LSU insiders are, and how confident some A&M insiders seem. Seems a lot like McKinnley Jackson last year, except with Jackson it was Alabama and A&M insiders both convinced that he was heading their way.

Ignoring the trolling in this thread, is another safety really a take for LSU at this point? Seems to me that we’ve got other positions we need to hit in this class.

LSU has signed 3 safeties and another ATH that could play safety as well. Gilbert is a good player but not a huge need for LSU and wasn’t a priority recruit as evidenced by LSU not offering him until late November.

I’m not bragging. I’m posting the lastest info. As of a day or so ago some Lsu posters were saying it was over and Lsu was the choice.

You should have been here a couple days ago scolding the LSU posters who said that they knew for a fact Gilbert was choosing LSU. For all I know, that might still be correct, but the LSU trolling wears so fricking thin.
