Did your fanbase "settle" at any point when you thought you were putting us away on the recruiting front? Or did they needle us about it year-round for 2 years?
In my fanbase's defense, your Oline class last season consisted of Ronald Cochran, Deion Calhoun and Elgton god damn Jenkins... Even Delta State's offensive line coach shakes his head and snickers a little when looking at that motley frickin crew on paper.

Not really. We will have to change our approach and make up a lot of ground.

You forgot the JUCO. And Calhoun is already good. But I agree -- it was a pretty weak class on the OL. Can't afford another one. Good thing is we've amassed some pretty decent depth there over time -- albeit fairly unproven in games at this time.
But other than that, I agree. OL recruiting has left something to be desired overall. And it's becoming glaring as we improve in other areas. I'd love for us to kick arse on the ground this year and Hevesy(run game coordinator title now) to get a head gig in the Sun Belt or similar somewhere else. While he's been a good coach and developer, we have to constantly fight to overcome him in recruiting. At least Mullen has basically pulled him off the trail...
The difference from Melvin to Deshea and especially Koenning to Johnson has been eye-opening...

So, will Mullen pull Peters scholly if he visits other schools?
I know he'll pull it seconds after flipping to us, but seems weird that Mullen's philosophy flip flops between high profile recruits and meh recruits.

Back to offense already?
How would all of you prefer your crow?
Should I keep going?

The problem is it's got nothing to do with his athletic ability, as you claimed.

Because it's engie...
engie and Derrick Jones timeline:
-As a recruit, "Hopefully we can flip Derrick Jones from Ole Miss."
-After signing day, "DJones is not good. Will never amount to anything. Glad we didn't sign him."
-After DJ switches to CB, "SEE EVERYONE. I told y'all DJones was a waste. He's already switching positions."
-DJones shows out at CB, "(insert engie's heavy breathing)."
-DJones wants to play WR and not CB, "(insert dumbass screencaps)"

Him falling to "Kailo string" at Corner has nothing to do with his athletic ability? Why did he suddenly become buried on the depth chart? All I heard was that he was an NFL corner better than any of ours.

I didn't "remember" where it happened but I did remember your fanbase going full retard on the argument. Google is your friend.

That's funny and not even close to true.
I told you fricks that he was going to be exposed at corner -- and he obviously has been.
I'm just glad my coaching staff isn't taking "the best corner in the state" and moving him to WR -- leaving my team with a cluster frick at corner that is already relying heavily on a true freshman.

Cluster frick is a bit of an exaggeration. We still have two pretty good corners and by all accounts Webster has been very good early on.
Personally (and I don't think it's just bias) I think it has nothing to do with talent with Jones. You don't go from shutting down OBJ and Mike Evans and having the coaching Staff and others praise you the majority of the offseason to being a third stringer behind Cliff fricking Coleman. Idk if he's disgruntled playing defense or what but whatever it is it doesn't make sense.

huh? Cluster frick? Yeah, those 4 INT's reallllllllllllllllllllllllly have me worried about our CB's. You're a special kind of person, engie.
Oh, and Webster is a boss. Wouldn't trade him for any MSU DB.
