It's why y'all got Shyheim Carter and are going to get Devonta Smith. If Sam Pettito was at LSU or UGA, that's where they'd be. If Austin Thomas was at Bama or UGA, then Jacoby would be going there. It's kinda dumb, but understandable. These kids are looking for familiarity and comfortability. These dudes help provide it.

The MO of LSU fans is to expect the worst and hope for the best. Most of us don't know shite, we are just naturally pessimistic. He could be 100% solid to LSU, we just have a hard time believing it.

He didn't leave IMG because he was homesick, he was asked to leave due to "off the field" issues.
Bama caught wind of that, and even asked him to submit to a drug test during one of his visits. Never heard whether he took it or not, but they dropped him totally from the board. Actually heard Auburn has dropped him from consideration as well, that Michigan is probably leading for him.

Austin Thomas is not the recruiting coordinator or even an actual position coach. He is the guy that left for SC and has since returned, that Stevens has the close relationship with.

I can't blame a normal high school kid for wanting to sell some weed. It's harmless and easy, you won't go to prison as a minor, and first offenses are almost always sent to a diversion program and sealed. But don't do that when you're an elite football prospect, and jeopardize your future. That's just dumb.
