I don't pretend to be an expert when it comes to scouting high school quarterbacks, but it just seems like it would be an incredible scouting job if no other D1 schools see the potential and he comes in and plays well at Florida.
He blew it up at our camp and committed almost right after being offered. I have no idea why a D1 school would chase after a 3 star who was only given a chance by us. It can make you pretty loyal when the program that offered you was the only one.
It'd be hard to sway him at this point because he simply loves Mac. I'm sure he won't be pity-following other coaching staffs.

Paxton Lynch had 0 D1 offers until Weis offered and it was given to morninwheg by Pease. Memphis offered in late January. He was turned away by usf and miami. JJ Watt, Patrick Willis and Aaron Rodgers were 2*s or lower. It happens.

Are you sure? I thought Memphis offered first and UF offered late. That's why he stuck with Memphis.

I can't say I blame him.

I don't know how they'd do this, but if they pulled Feleipe AND Eason?

Still think its Michigan or, with the right hire, UGA... Need him either at UGA or as far away from the SEC as possible.

Plan on running a dual QB system?

Is the consensus that Eason is more polished than Franks? if so, Eason should be able to take the starting job pretty quick. Treon just doesn't work in Mac's offense and Grier may or may not suit up for the Gators again.
I think I'd rather have Eason than Franks if I have to choose.

If Eason even sniffs Florida Franks is crying and is a gone pecan! He cried like a little girl when Patterson came in for a visit. Just saying. Y'all crazy if you think your signing Franks and Eason. Eason is much more ready than Franks. Most are saying Franks is a project. A very good project but a project never the les.

I wouldn't get my hopes up on Eason. Has been stated many times but the only way he ends up elsewhere per him and his father is that if we try to install some funky arse offense. If we hire Kirby Smart it's very likely we install a normal spread and he would probably stay with Georgia. He has very close friends on the team like Ben Cleveland who has said he would personally drag him to UGA if he has too. That being said, in recruiting....nothing is ever 100pct.

Eason seems to be the better prospect but Franks is not a bad consolation prize by any stretch.

What does hiring Kirby have to do with offense? Kirby would not be the one implementing the offense, I would argue the opposite that going from an offensive minded HC to a defensive one works against you

Disagree
Kirby isn't going to bring in the triple option or the Air Raid. I mean it would probably depend on who he hires as OC but you wouldn't see a huge philosophy shift with Kirby.
