come's in as walk on.

Pretty interesting kid, seven years in college, Committed to Louisiana Tech, before going JUCO then to USM and then to State.

Led the nation in completion % at Southern Miss. Injured during his time in Starkville.

Sounds like he had an offer from Ole Miss and Maryland before deciding to walk on here.

Any Mississippi peeps have anything on this kid?

He was going to walk on here. No offer. He didn’t have any possibility to start here so didn’t come.

Got it. Our beat writer made it sound like it may have been an offer since he mentioned Maryland offering in the same sentence.

starting to worry he is a warm body because Horn is likely to sign after getting drafted.

Smart beat writer. I bet your coaching staff loves him.

He's got a lot of experience, just doesn't have any recent experience. He may get some snaps.

He’s my neighbor in Tupelo. Really nice guy and he’s been working out really hard recently to stay in shape. I will be rooting for him.

Smart kid. Not sure what your QB room looks like but I doubt he contributes unless you have a couple of injuries.

I thought more of him than most coming out of Southern Miss.

His problem is concussions. I think that is why most places won't offer. He got "injured" handing the ball off during off season workouts and never got cleared to play for the remainder of the season.

I don't know much about hand offs but they aren't supposed knock out your possible starting QB for the season with a concussion. He could have competed for the starting roll last year but not now.

I do not question his talent, just his ability to stay healthy. I think he can play and start at a lot of places if he is healthy.
