I'd go with Clowney.
I think at one point, Seastrunk was an even bigger recruit than LF.

Modern day recruit?
I would say that he would probably be top 10. There is a lot of dumb people in here that will laugh at you because the team they root for may not get LF. If he had more teams involved in his recruitment, maybe he could have been closer to the most coveted recruit.
Like many have already posted, Clausen was a very highly coveted kid, along with Clowney. Other names to toss in that group would be Nkemdiche, Brice Brown, Pryor, Vince Young, Joe McKnight, and maybe Eric Berry.

Yea I was going to say Pryor was huge as well. I think when a QB is #1, it makes it seem bigger. Clausen, Pryor, VY seem huge because they were at the biggest position.
I think LF is an absolute monster

It's a shame more teams didn't even try to recruit LF. The kid is an absolute beast. But I dunno if anybody was more coveted than THE Bryce Brown lol.

Yes. I remember "at one point" (which is what I typed) Seastrunk was as big a recruit to LSU fans on the LSU recruiting board as I'd ever seen. Sure, he fell off our radar after a while but for that time, he was the biggest deal for months.
