If you don't sign early, are you really committed?

Kind of how I feel about it. Thoughts?

aren’t most of these guys (that are signing early) early enrollees?

If you’re not a December grad, I could see why you wouldn’t sign early.

Nope. It just means you are holding out for something else

Probably not, but that’s ok. Takes longer for some kids to make such a huge decision

I don't think so. I guess I don't know from a national perspective, but A&M has most guys signing that aren't EE.

If you're committed and have an opportunity to sign and end the process, why wouldn't you if have made your decision?

Make sure your coach doesn't leave after bowl games.

That’s actually a good point.

These kids really should commit to a school and not the particular coaches.

So these kids should not care about who is going to coach them, what type of offense/defense they play...who is going to groom them as a player and a person, who can get them to the next level??

yes, of course all of that matters.

However, as we’ve seen over the years, there’s a very likely chance that in a lot of cases, these kids aren’t going to have the same positions coach, coordinator, and/or HC during their career at any given school. So basing their decision primarily on the coach, especially a position coach or coordinator, is a poor decision IMO.

I think the English professors should do most of the recruiting.

I mean... recruit to the school. Am I right?

It will be interesting to see if commits get dropped if they are sent scholarship papers and don't sign them

This discussion seems to affect your mood.

I'm fine with this chat by the way. Your frustration with your program and season are carrying over into recruiting threads.

This is great entertainment.
