We rotate backs and have depth. LSU didnt take a RB in the class before and gives its starter 90 percent of the carries.

So...a RB that led his team in rushing multiple times in his career is not a SEC level back.....okay.

Ya, like I said, fournette would be the only SEC caliber back on the roster
He's more than capable.

Are you talking about Hill? I thought he was gone to the league.

Statistically speaking, LSU is the answer here. Over the past seasons with Les Miles as head coach, they have showed a tendency to rotate the backs all throughout the season. He does never always even go with the best back, sometimes the running back that is "hottest" at the time. I remember Alfred Blue, Kenny Hlliard, Mike Ford, Steven Ridley, Terrance McGee, Jeremy Hill, and Spencer Ware all getting a start at some point (not all in the same season).
Alabama typically lets the starter carry the load, then has a running back to spell him. Very rarely has Alabama split the reps (generously) among more than two running backs in a season.
If there is one thing LSU does well, it is distributing the ball with running backs.

Curious which of our "mods" other than Bone you think are deceitful and why?

They dont have any to split with because Les went all in on Fournette and didnt take a back last year.

You realize we're taking at least 2, maybe 3 backs this year, including Fournette, right?

Yahoo: LSU running back Terrence Magee (14) runs over Alabama defensive back Landon Collins (26
look at him laying on the ground trying to grab his shoelaces and shite
7.8 yards per touch this year and 8 TDs

He literally ran over him, like above him. Not quite trucking him, but if yall want to take that as a victory with as few and far between as they have been, I wont blame you.

that's not what I remember, and Yahoo seems to agree with me.

Well, in Les' defense he should still have Hilliard and Blue on the roster but both are rumored to be leaving. We got a commit from a really good RB out of John Ehret last week too. We'll be ok.
Now if LF doesn't come here then we're effed.

Who besides Williams?
and there's a possibility we pull boo back into the fold, but I think that's even less likely than Cook

Yahoo seems to not agree with you, but again take all the moral victories you feel the need to.

Isn't Hill staying? Or is he leaving?
That would make a huge difference
To say LSU rotates better than other schools like Bama especially is laughable and if anything LSU had way less carries for ANY back because of Cameron's O and that will change probably with WR's leaving
Fournette is good but I saw a couple good ones at Bama and Tampa get wasted way too early from being primo option #1 and that's what LF is headed for at LSU jmho

Brazil too, but he's gone for acting like a damn fool.

You assume blue and Hilliard bolt.... Which they very well may but it's because LF is coming.
