He is an extreme talent and likely a one and done. I saw him play at Lake Highlands last year and was very impressed. He is lightning fast for a 6'6" kid and carried his team.

And this one has to irk Scott Drew at Baylor a good bit. Johnson's dad played basketball at Baylor and their less heralded but highly ranked recruit Nic Codie also has a Dad who played football at Baylor.

You a Lake Highlands guy? I live up the road, kids went there. Saw him play a few games too. Very happy he might spend a year in Austin.

Oh, and he did carry the team, but they had four guys who were very talented including the 6 10 kid who is headed to Yale.

No . .live close by and I have a ton of friends with kids currently going through high school there.
We know some folks involved in both Prestonwood and HP basketball and saw those games. Prestonwood had a bunch of 5 and 4 star transfer talent and got stomped. HP probably should have won at least one of the matchups.
I watched your other big commit Nic Codie play for Newman Smith in the DISD tournament last year as well. He looks like a bit more of a project but certainly has the frame and athleticism to excel.
