Yeah that would be cool but his future is in football and I don't think he should risk it playing basketball.
What in my last post was controversial? I'm sorry he is a Clemson lean at this point but that doesn't mean hes going to Clemson. The In state school always are going to be hard to beat especially if he waits until Feb. "Oh he said the Vols aren't going to get this kid lets down vote his comment because it shows how fricking stupid and pathetic we are and maybe then Higgins will change his mind."

From UT's camp at Tennessee State in Nashville today:
PFort also went on to say that we currently lead for Maleik Gray as well, but that situation is fluid with FSU, Southern Cal, and Bama are all still in it.

Tee Higgins talked about Tennessee being the top overall school right now and that while Clemson is close, it's about all of his relationships at Tennessee and the fact that it's close to home and his friends and family can come see him. He was in Memphis this weekend with his family and is in Nashville working on some ACT prep so he decided to make the drive to the camp.

Tee will be a VOL once both sides agree on a fair price.

I agree. Gotta keep momma happy.

Higgins and Williams could be the top 1-2 punch at WR in the SEC if Tee indeed becomes a Vol.

We still have Azzani as WR coach so probably not, although both are great talents. I think (and hope) UT gets Higgins because we aren't getting Stevens or Rodgers in my opinion.

I wish this were true. But haven't had a 1000 yd receiver since Justin Hunter in 2012. If this keeps up I don't know how many more elite WRs we can sign. Those kids want the ball in their hands.

I still can't believe arse Nazi made it through the offseason without being axed a question

Antonio Brown is the only reason arse Nazi has a job.

Have you seen Tennessee WRs lately?
It's crazy we're actually in a battle with Tennessee over Higgins given how turrible they've been lately at WR development and how incredible we've been. It just goes to show you how insane the local pressure is. This top 5 with Tennessee at 1 is a direct result of the tumors that Clemson leads. He's just trying to get the locals off his back.
In the end I think he'll go to Clemson. If NSD was today I think he'd sign with Clemson, but by season's end the pressure will be too much and he'll sign with Tennessee. Not a shot at Tennessee fans either with the pressure comment. That's recruiting. We'd do the same thing if an All-World recruit was in our area.
Yal better not fvck this guy up. I pulled for a North when yal stole him from us, ditto Malone. If yal frick this kid up too I'll be furious.

You know him personally?

Yea I thought Malone and esp North after a good freshmen year would be a lot better then they have been
Now they got Preston Williams and Jaun Jennings looking like they have 5 star potential but if one these 4 don't get get close to 1k or at least 2 of them combine for 1400-1500 yards azznazi should be fired for sure dude fricking sucks

Agreed. I honestly wanted him gone halfway through last year, if there isn't a dramatic improvement this season, he should be fired immediately

I hate arse nazi but to be fair, North was constantly injured during his sophomore and junior seasons. He could barely practice for most of those seasons.
But I do agree that they have not been developed as good as they should have. It drives me fricking nuts how Tennessee rotates WR every fricking play. I mean, frick.

Watch them bring up Antonio Brown and whomever the frick at Central Michigan/Cincy as proof their system works

Now part of it is Dobbs, but dropped passes, incorrect routes, that's coaching.

You are correct. Go watch the Florida and Arkansas games for proof. Dobbs isn't perfect but these receivers do not make his job any easier. Part of the problem with that is the constant rotating players at that position imo. It's hard to get into a rhythm when 3 or 4 motherfrickers are swapping every single play and you're letting 8 or 9 different receievers see meaningful PT.
We've got far too much talent at WR to not have a guy even break 500 yards in a season. They need to identify the top 5 or 6 at that position and keep it like that.
Smith, Malone, Williams and Jennings should be our top 4. Let Jeff George, Latrell Williams, Marquez Callaway, Tyler Byrd (if he stays on offense) and Brandon Johnson battle it out for the last couple of spots.

This is very common in college, especially with spread teams. Clemson rotates WRs every play. If you watch whoever ran the deep route on a play you can see them just peel it off to the sideline as the next man runs onto the field. It keeps your unit constantly fresh and develops depth.
Constant rotations isn't why Tennessee's WRs aren't developing.
