I thought Jonathon Taylor was getting hyped up during his RS year and might take the starting job at NT or Mike Thornton if he doesn't move outside. Either way, MA was going to play DE at UGA, not NT.

It doesn't matter, barring god intervening he's not coming here.

Taylor fits the spot on paper, but Richt was quoted by Chuck Oliver today saying they never take JUCO's unless they plan on starting them on day #1. Because he's 330 pounds, I can only assume he'll be at NT. Eitehr way, the position itself usually gets alot of rotation, so Taylor will be in there plenty.

But, it's another good point you make Menlo, Adams would make a significant impact on our depth chart, but wouldn't necessarily make our defense 'better' because we are pretty squared away on defensive line, unless injuries start stacking up.

Like Tunsil at Ole Miss, I think Adams could make a more immediate impact at Auburn right now.

Mayes is a little different because he signed an LOI 2 years ago but had to go JUCO and our staff told him he'd have a spot. Still think it's Taylor's spot to lose...kid is a boss.

Kipp Adams spoke to MA and MA said 3 people know where he is going. Two of them are MA and his mom. The pay or non pay sites are only guessing.

He's going to Auburn. It's not a guess.

Montavious Adams is extremely raw and will need a couple years to get where he needs to be but he has a very high ceiling and this would be a very big pickup for Auburn!

Nothing I can say on here, but I'll do a ban bet or any sort of bet anyone wants that he ends up at Auburn.

Bad bet, he is all Auburn

How is it a bad bet in your opinion. He is betting he ends up at AU and he believe also he ends up at AU? Sounds like a winner to me...

I don't think anyone could really feel "good" about Alexander until they get that LOI. He's just been so back-and-forth throughout the recruiting process.

Having said that, a week ago he informed the Clemson coaching staff they were currently on top for him. Now a million things can happen in a week and a half before NSD (we led for Adams a week ago ) so I don't really know what to think about Alexander.

I'm gonna check into it tonight, but I doubt they'll be any new info on him. His is a situation where it is completely a guess as far as where he's going. Wouldn't surprise me at all if he chose Auburn, Clemson or some random as school no one expected.
