I agree, but it won't help if he quits before the season's over, like Weigman did.

Sometimes a change of scenery causes a player to get his head screwed on straight. Perhaps that works for A&M and Humphrey.
There's a reason why coaches take a risk on talent that struggled at another stop. Sometimes the change of venue works.
Just good for fans to know that a player is a "project" in many ways as opposed to a "plug and play" guy.

Can’t teach speed, but hopefully we can make him technically sound. Our program needs more speed on the field.

Yup, that's going to be a big part of the risk taking him on. Hopefully he takes A&M seriously & this is only a brief phase of immaturity.
