*** Oxford (Ala.) four-star linebacker Kwon Alexander left his Iron Bowl visit high on Auburn, and after receiving visits from the Tigers this week, nothing has changed that. Auburn, once thought to be the underdog for Alexander, is now the favorite.

*** Aberdeen (Miss.) Rivals100 defensive end Channing Ward was in Auburn on an unofficial visit last weekend for the Iron Bowl, and the Tigers followed that up with in-school and an-home visits earlier this week (a coach is allowed to visit a prospect at school and at home as long as the visits occur in the same day). Auburn has quietly made up a lot of ground for Ward, and the longtime Ole Miss lean might now be leaning towards the Tigers.

*** Mainland (Daytona Beach, Fla.) Rivals100 defensive end Leonard Williams took an official visit to Florida last weekend for the Florida-Florida State game. Williams has been high on the Gators since early in the process, but after an official visit to Auburn for the Tigers’ 17-6 win over Florida, named Auburn his new No. 1. The Tigers visited with Williams this week, and even after his official visit to Gainesville, Auburn continues to be the frontrunner.

That's a nice way of saying they weren't picking up what we were throwing down.

We visited them and asked then point blank, "yes or no?" Not to know if they would eventually come to Auburn, but to find out how interested they were. That, along with the fact that they missed visits, lead us to stop recruiting.

Not giving you a hard time, that statement just makes me laugh.
I love how certain reporters try to save face and spin by saying "we stopped recruiting them" instead of "they weren't interested enough for us to continue giving it a shot." Makes it sound like the decision was ours instead of theirs.

That was my point in giving the "yes or no" info. They didn't want to waste anymore time with them.

This isn't about you TTsTowel. It was about the original source of your information.
Again, my comment was not directed at you.
One last time...
NOT. DIRECTED. AT. YOU.
There's no need for you to continue to respond and tell me what you meant. I know what you fricking meant because I'm not retarded.

We need to pull some of these frickers regardless. Bama and Florida are neck and neck with us with 5 or 6

I think it was just FSU people screwing with Alabama and Auburn fans. He's still committed to FSU

Not for long though. I'd be surprised if he stayed committed at this point. I could see him decommitting after his official this weekend.
Still has some family pressure to stay close to home, Bama finished #2 to FSU earlier, and he's been to T-town literally dozens of times. It will become about family, comfort, and fit.
and then we shift focus to his draft position.

From what I've heard (not from J Lee), Jameis Winston really likes Auburn...
I'm not saying we land him, but it's closer than people think.

Since we've been able to start heating up our recruitment again, we are definitely rising.
However, it is going to take a HUGE effort to pull him away from Bama or MLB.

I assume you're just trying to show off that Bammer education, or lack there of... You're doing a good job, though. Keep it up.

Well, since shot means more than 0% chance, then yes.
