I'm really getting a feeling that we get Goldman and Darby from things I've been reading. I'm trying to keep my expectations low but it's not working.

I'd be surprised if we take more than one back-up guy that no one has been talking about.

They'll just roll the spots over to next year.

i agree with this. its been mentioned but everyone keeps forgetting how pathetically tiny the class will be next year

Good to see that someone on here is optimistic. I've been trying to convince myself that we do have a chance.

I didn't think people could roll spots over after this year.

P.S. Hey bro.

not so much as in rolling back spots as it is the 85 limit will be a problem for the 1st time in years

The spots will just go unfilled, but towards the 85 limit. With only 13 seniors next year, we are pushing the 85 limit. Time to start our own process.

You can still count back to the previous year, as long as you stay under the 85 limit, correct? Meaning the EE's can count towards your previous class, I think.

I'm not sure that's true because UF could take well over 25 this year if they wanted. 30-32 was how many they COULD sign, but they will get nowhere near it.

Im not sure either...but that was how I was led to believe. I thought last year was the last year we could surpass 25 for any reason?

That wouldn't make sense. Then it isn't back counting.

ETA: Meaning it wouldn't make sense if back counting were still allowed. Still not sure the rule on this.

This is what I thought. But I don't know if the loophole exists for Early Enrollees. I thought that regardless of the 85 rule, you couldn't surpass 25.

This was supposed to be the last year for that, I thought.

Yea, I believe this was the last year to count back at all. Next year you get 25, no matter what

I thought the same, but others keep saying back counting will still be allowed. I keep seeing references to saving room for next year. Maybe that just means saving room under the 85.

Thats what I meant, just didnt do a very good job of putting it in writing.

Basically, sign as many as you want, as long as you don't go over either limit.
