Talk about a no win situation.
If we land these big recruits, all the teabaggesr and corndogs and the lesser minnions will start crowing again about our "payroll".
If not, then its the standard Chizik sucks, flash in the pan, AU is back to being "average" bullshite.

Yea people love to hate on Auburn. That is fine. I kinda like the fact that we piss so many people off and they mad. We will be back soon enough.

My son is part of the 2013 class and gotten some recruiting interest from FBS schools but has a good friend on his team that is a BSC prospect for 2013 at running back/linebacker. They have both had some degree of contact with SEC schools (mostly my son's friend) and ACC schools.
By far, the most negative recruiting has come from FSU, the team not to be mentioned west of here and Clemson.
The general take is AU is a glass house and it is falling apart. One comment from FSU was "...if Roof was the problem on defense, how'd he get the DC job at PSU?" From the west school (turds) "..you'll never get to the pros playing in a gimick offense.." All of the schools recruiting negatively have made comments about how quickly the "family" will fall apart when things go wrong. Recruits read the message boards, the bunker included. Keep that in mind when you are posting here. If you are a recruit, would you want to go to AU after reading some of the comments posted here?
For the record, I don't post alot because I am not an insider but I can tell you this. My son has talked with one of the GA's on AU's staff, and the coaches feel very good about how they will finish. No specifics were mentioned but he did say we'll miss on a few but we'll get our share as well. That's good news to me.
AU has stepped up it's level of recruiting. We're not taking 80% 3-star atheletes and only going after "sure thing" 4/5 stars. The coaches here are trying to get the best kids and talent they can. When you swing for the fence, it's not always a home run but if you get 30% that pretty darn good.
Gotta love hearing this shite come out.

Do not surprise me in the least, but I would've thought UF was better than this. They have a whole lot to sell to recruits, why in the world are they negatively recruiting against us?
Kinda makes me wonder how they think the future is looking down there...

In my defense, it never really specifies where "here" is and I know a good number of people who hate Florida enough to refer to them as that.

FWIW, we are actually talking about recruiting and have been since the start. I'd say about 75% of our thread is based on recruiting, while maybe below 50% of your thread is. :dwi:
