He was very high on his visit to Auburn, said it felt like home, and called coach Trooper Taylor, 'Pops'. When asked where Auburn stood with Diggs, he smirked and said the Tigers' are sitting good right now.

just needs some solid coaching, which he will get at AU.
Not if he is going to play S. Thigpen is the weakest coach we hae on staff.

Jordan Moore loved his visit. He will take a visit to TCU, and then will probably commit, which will likely be to Auburn. Glad we offered this guy, very athletic and under the radar
Me too
Dude is like 6'3 200 pounds and fast enough to be committed to LSU for track...

Agreed, he could be a great find for us. I'm really excited about Jonathan Jones too. Reading some of his tweets from this weekend and other visits, he seems like a great kid.

Kid is a straight up head hunter...

From Bryan Matthews on Diggs' visit
quote:
Just spoke with 5-star WR Stefon Diggs, who said he had a great time on his visit and really felt comfortable at Auburn. He called it his best visit yet -- unofficially or officially. He said Auburn was "up there" on his list and he has a real good relationship with WR coach Trooper Taylor. He plans to have a decision sometime after Signing Day. Diggs will visit Florida Jan. 20, take the ACT Jan. 28 and visit another school sometime after that. He mentioned Auburn, Florida, California, USC, Maryland has the schools he is still considering.

Yea, really good tape. The site says he runs a 4.37 40. I don't see it in the tape, but he is definitely a head hunter. I wonder if we leave him at safety or move him to OLB?

He is the 2x 55m hurdle champ in Georgia, and was 2 one-hundreths of a second from setting a national record

Safety, IMO... We are kind of thin back there.
Also, his site says he benches 310 and squats 520. This kid could really be a beast when he gets in a college weight lifting program. I can't wait to see him hit the field after a good redshirt season.

He hasn't taken his ACT yet?

If I had to guess, he's just taking it again. Isn't his HS private? If so, they probably make sure eveyone takes the ACT their junior year. At least that's what the private schools in my area do

I think so.
I hope he has a good enough score, he seems like a pretty intelligent kid.

The Armsteads are still in Auburn.

I'm about to put some info in the Florida thread in regards to L. Williams visit to FSU.

Just for clarification, Armstead said his "enrollment" at Cal, which many were confused about, was just a precaution, and he's likely enrolled at AU and ND as well
Also, he will make a decision and be at the school he chooses on Tuesday
