I'm late 20's. I know my LSU history though. I'm curious who was the last elite player from LA, that LSU Sriously wanted, that opted to go to Fayettville instead?

La was open season in the 90's. Once the fence went up, It became a nightmare to recruit against LSU for recruits unless you had direct connections to the state, and even then it takes a lot of dirty politics to get the job done.

Who LsU seriously wants is subjective. Anyone leaving the state they didn't have a committee offer and so on. I know how to play this game with you guys.

We never really recruited Louisiana much, until recently, so there's not much history to go on.
For Arkansas fans, it's just funny when a recruit lists 3 schools he's considering, with one being Arkansas, and hearing LSU fans say there are only 2.

WE NEVER REALLY RECRUITED LOUISIANA MUCH, UNTIL RECENTLY.
It's sorta hard to give examples for recruits you didn't recruit. Still, there are a few examples, but LSU fans will just deny them.

Is someone seriously suggesting Arkansas has only recently recruited Louisiana???WTF?? Of course they have, there isn't enough talent in Arkansas to field a D1 team...they have to and its ok...everyone can't go to LSU and a few just would rather leave the state...it's all good but please don't post idiotic statements like that

You guys sucked through most of the 90s, as well. I remember Memphis beating Arkansas a couple of times with middle of the road teams. Arkansas is kinda like Ole Miss, just with 3 trips to Atlanta, but fewer overall titles.
Nice job hedging, saying his Dad will push him one direction or the other. If that were the case, he'd be going to LSU. The fact that there is so much interest in UF should tell you something about where Fulton's head REALLY is. I'll give you a hint. They don't wear red.

Because the fricking kid's dad literally posted the Florida stuff on our recruiting board. He's never once mentioned Arkansas.
