I honestly don't care if he ever plays one down of football for AU, but I hope he get academically eligible, gets in AU or anywhere, and then uses that opportunity to get an education that leads him to a sustainable career. He has had it rough.

There's more than just unfortunate sequence of events that were out of his control.
Other than him giving up on his grades in hs? If you know something say it, otherwise, what is the point of douching up the thread.

You know what bruh there may be things that were in his control, and he could have done to improve his life. For whatever reason he didn't make it to Auburn. By the way someone's attitude and effort can be greatly affected by the losses he had to endure. It would be devastating to anyone, and everyone may deal with it differently. Here is the crux of the story since you have missed it.

With all that has happened in his control or not he hasn't quit trying to get to Auburn to play football and get a degree. Failure is when you stop trying, and yet it may look as if the light has turned on.

I applaud his not giving in to the trials he has had to endure. I applaud that Auburn has done the right thing, and stuck with him, encouraging him and saying he is still welcome. I wish him well and am pulling for his success whether it's at Auburn or not.

Edit: You were not the only one to miss it. Another thought it was a story about how he was 6'4" when first recruited and now is listed at 6'2" that was by far more retarded then what you came up with.

yeah...this dude could have shut down mentally for a long time. It affected him on the short term, but that would be normal for anyone that has no family left at that age.

He went to school with my nephew and he told me he was dumber than a box of rocks and would never play a down at any school. I hope he gets to play one day he was fun to watch in HS.
