I don't get Florida's struggles. Even when Kiffin Kiffin'd us a month before signing day we closed with a much better class than this one will be with Dumbass Doolittle. If I was a Florida fan I would be nervous. It should not be difficult to recruit to Florida, period.

They will be next year's Tennessee and sign 30+ probably the next 2 years.

Apparently, UF has crap facilities. The student housing is bad and they are just now planning an IPF.

OP
What is there to understand? Muschamp was a lame duck for 2 years. How do you recruit as a lame duck???? During that time FSU had Winston, and 1 NC, and went to the playoffs.
We have had no O for 4 FREAKING years, and no attention to offensive players. Think about that- 4 years.
Now you have a completely new staff with only 1 retention. No relationships with any of the recruits because our HC was a HC Colorado ST- different universe. Just one staff member retained, different universe. They were hired during the dead period. How are you supposed to recruit in two weeks?
You are a moron if you don't understand the situation.
I understand FSU killing it right now. What I don't get though is as of now Miami, South Florida, Central Florida, and Florida Atlantic all have better classes than UF. That should just never happen, ever. I'm sure UF will close a few at the last minute but damn. UF is the only SEC school in arguably the most talent rich state in the US, is the Flagship school of that state and a far superior quality education than any of those others (with Miami being the only one that is even remotely close). You still have fairly recent NC's and Heisman winners. Tons of NFL players as well.
I mean I understand that it is a rebuild but you would still think a ton of 3 Stars and some solid 4 Stars would jump on a UF offer even if Howdy Doody was coach.

Yep, bottom tier of the league.

Why anyone would want to spend prime years of their life in a godforsaken place like Gaines- er- Jortsville is anyone's guess.

but no other program in Florida should be beating you for recruits right now

This is a perfect example of how much of a lie the saying "the school recruits itself" is.
You don't know how many times I have to tell idiot LSU fans that.

Wait till signing day when their top 4 prospects don't sign with em either
I've seen that on several different sites (not just recruiting sites). This shite can really blow up in their face.
However I believe they get 2 of 4. They get CeCe and Ivey.
