Lets take a look at Sherman. He worked his way up to Green Bay HC. He did okay, but was fired. He then worked his way up to A&M HC (HOU OL then OC) and again was fired. He wasn't able to work his way up again as he was fired as MIA's OC.
I agree he isn't a bad coach or even a bad guy, but he's nothing special.
Now back to topic. While its always nice to have big time recruits visit even (especially?) when they are committed elsewhere, but I don't expect Monroe to flip.

North Shore has always hated us, not sure what it is. That's what most of our fans are referring to though

Coaches are aligned with LSU. They either went to the school or hope to get on the payroll. They help Monroe get to LSU for visits, but don't assist him in getting to A&M. Almost like having a street agent.
Same issue happened with Pat Hudson and Baylor earlier this year when he decommitted from A&M.

If they truly were interested in a&m then they would find a way to get there. This couldnt-get-a-ride doesn't make up the players minds.

Yeah the whole relying on coaches to make it to A&M is the "only way"? Really? He couldnt get another ride from ANYONE? Seems like he just doesnt care about going, not sure why that's too hard to accept. Maybe he's just being nice by saying "well my ride fell through" instead of "I'm committed to LSU and dont have interest in A&M". He's less than 2 hours away from A&M.

He's visited plenty of times. He also went to our game when it was in his home, Houston.
You obviously don't know anything about his family situation if you think rides are easy to come by, with an unaccomodating hs staff.

He's less than 2 hours away. Stop making excuses and just realize he's now committed somewhere and doesnt have any real interest in A&M anymore. He last visited in April this year and hasn't returned since he committed to LSU shortly thereafter.

We know he is, but as of right now he is all LSU.

Obviously, he's an LSU commit and he's never said otherwise.
