Overrated as a top 5 player in the country? Yeah. We were. He's still a legit top 25 player in the country though. Not too many Bama fans were denying that even when he was committed to LSU.
I don't think the term "garbage" would often be used for a top 25 player like Gumps did for Moses.

Hilarious you even think you guys can distinguish a guy who is one of the best 5 players in the country vs. a top 25 player in the country.

Y'all are still crying about Moses? He's coming to LBU. We'll see how it goes, I guess. If anything, he'll provide a little depth.

No one is crying, just laughing how you guys called him "garbage" and overated while an LSU Commit. He flips to Bama and you think he's the second coming of Mike Singletary.

After watching him last night I think he would be a much better pass rusher coming off the edge as opposed to an inside linebacker.
He isn't very good at reading and reacting, but when he blitzes he looks like a missile.
Tim Williams was about his size in high school too. Moses could follow his career arc and I think he'd be successful. Inside linebacker? I don't know if his instincts project well there in college.

Moses was averaging 12.5 tackles per game going into last night. He's an ILB all the way. He amassed some huge tackle seasons in LA playing too.

I saw his "tackles" last night. There's a lot of pile jumping going on there.

I agree with you Saint. He's much better at just running full speed ahead st the QB instead of having to react to plays. He's going to be nasty for you guys though. It stings to lose him. If we lose Allen too, then we're really screwed.

Agree with that

His dad and brother were decked in LSU gear but Dylan looked miserable. Honestly I wish he would just stay away from the program at this point. This drama queen shite is getting out of hand.

Most of us DGAF, if he ends up here good but he stays Gump that's ok too. Interest in the drama is gone

FWIW, he is visiting this weekend.

Dylan is overhyped.
He developed earlier than his peers and was pegged as a freak, but in reality, as a senior in HS, he's probably a mid-tier 4 star LB prospect.
Still very good and I want him, but he gets wayyyy more press than he should.

He's 225 pounds with 4.4 speed. Linebackers with measurables like that come along every 10 years or so. Most of those kids play running back

Look, I want him at LSU, and he'll succeed at Bama, but if you've ever watched him play extensively it is obvious he's very tentative and has average instincts. His speed and size allow him to rack up tackles chasing people from behind, but he doesn't have film like the top badass LBs.
Reuben Foster is a guy that has that mean streak and instincts.

I remember when Reuben didnt play much his first 2 years and everyone said he was too dumb to make an impact on Sabans team and would never amount to anything but a special teams head hunter. Said similar things about Landon Collins, and when Dylan doesnt play the first 2 years they will say similar things about him. Sometimes you just have to let a kid develop.

I would say that calling him names, claiming he's over rated, and saying he isn't welcome back in the state are probably not the best ways to win him over. That's ridiculous, but it's what LSU fans do to players from LA who decide they want to go elsewhere.
pot calling kettle black. yeah how i seem to remember similar melt happening with foster and a few others heading to rivals only to be flipped at the very end
