With the need to replace Carter we clearly did not push for Miller. I guess we thought the same as you. He's not a CB in the SEC.

We fought against each other, and the dude picks West Virginia. Any sec school would have been better.

We didn't "fight each other". He committed to LSU. He looked at the depth chart and knew he would be vying for the 4th or 5th corner spot and that LSU wanted him to play safety anyway. Word is Aggie did too. So he went where he could play corner and step in immediately.

Miller was told to look around, he wanted to play CB, we told him he's a safety. Ultimately even A&M was telling him he's a safety. WVU said oh yeah you can be a corner here. Hence his social media post about being a CORNERBACK at WVU.
It's as simple as that. We didn't "lose him" we've been recruiting to replace him for a while now. His own JUCO S teammate looks much better than he is and he may end up in our class instead. Or we just get some combination of Ward, Jones and Williams.
