Athletic Article claims it's between Memphis, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, and Alabama. In the free section, the father seems to rule out Ole Miss.
Would be big for Mississippi State. I've always felt like Memphis was going to get him. But man this article is teasing that it isn't going to be Memphis or Ole Miss. Who knows though with recruiting.

It was pretty cool. They just wanted to talk to D.J. before he made his decision. It’s looking like that’ll be Friday or Saturday. They just wanted to come in before the decision was made to let him know they still want him. It was all business.
Were you impressed?
Oh yeah, I was impressed. I was impressed by the professionalism because coaches get mad when they feel like they’re not the one and they get bitter. They weren’t bitter or resentful at all.
How was the Memphis in-home visit on Sunday?
It was honestly emotional. D.J. felt like they didn’t want him...

He’s more than likely going to State. His stock has really fallen the last year or so. His dad is the one calling the shots and I wouldn’t be surprised if something comes up in his recruiting. He isn’t the NBA talent people thought he was 2 years ago but should be a good college player. I’m afraid his dad still believes his son is that kind of talent like Newman’s father believed.

So pathetic. He basically says the rebs are not in it anymore and you throw out every reason in recruiting for not getting him. You forgot to mention that your coach is completely unproven.
