Sure, I can read. But you are missing the point. The article is crap. It lists team rankings down to 6 DBs. LSU is not listed at all.
quote:
defensive backs in the NFL at the end of last season, more than any other college, according to an NFL roster database compiled by The Detroit News. After Alabama, Florida and Ohio State tied for second with eight each. Next were Auburn, Clemson, Texas and Oregon with seven each, then Florida State, Virginia Tech and Kansas with six apiece.
LSU certainly had at least 6 DBs on an NFL roster at the end of the season. But they are not listed. Article is crap.

Maybe. Maybe not. Maybe the LSU players you are thinking about weren't on an active roster at the end of last season. I didn't write the article and I didn't do the research.

Also, Auburn has 9 defensive backs on roster right now, but that damn sure doesn't make them someone to be considered for DBU. Quantity means much less than quality.

How many were on a roster at the end of last season?

Don't know and don't care to research it.
I think my point is obvious.
The number of players at a given position doesn't mean anything if they aren't any good. Take Auburn, for example, as already mentioned.

Well when a highly respected news agency like The Detroit News writes a story about the real DBU, you know I have to post it.

True, true.
They've had their hand in the SEC news for a while now.

I like TideSaint, but we and him used to go at it. With his current username and alter.

The alter was short lived. I haven't been banned since.
What was that Safety's name from Miami we both got triggered about that signed with neither Alabama nor Auburn?

I'm 99% sure it was Deon Bush. Maybe...
Posted on 8/16/16 at 7:01 pm to TTsTowel
That's it. I kept thinking Deon Cain for some reason.

There's some legends that have disappeared in that first thread.
And the L5U fan on the first couple pages talking about Landon Collins.
