Congrats on winning in overtime. The enormous talent that LSU had at field goal kicking was the difference in the ball game. If only Nick could develop kicking talent as good as LSU.

Les has OWNED your team son!!! He's 5-2 against the ALMIGHTY Bama!!!!

WTF??? bama lost 2 JRs to the draft after the 2009 season. Rolando McClain Kareem Jackson Are you saying those two players would have changed the outcome of 3 games?

Bama lost 3 games in 2010 because of inexperience on D. Every game they lost they gave up multiple big plays (mostly passes). I'm not saying Bama would have been went 14-0 but if Jackson is around to cover Randle,Jeffrey or Blake instead of a 1st year starter and Rol who's the best guy to play D for us the last decade is on the field, it's not crazy to think some of those scores could have been different. Those 2 could have helped Bama tremendously in 2010.

Maybe you should move some of that "talent" to the offense.

You mean the offense that led the SEC in scoring? The offense that led the SEC in passing efficiency? The offense that had more passing TD's and less int's than Bama? I think they're ok....

LSU and Bama are equals in talent. LSU appears to have more talent b/c they rotate more players in a game than what Bama does. But, when Bama does substitute there's no drop off in play. It's just differing coaching philosophies.

Also, Bama tends to recruit a bit more regionally and nationally depending on need than LSU. LSU tends to focus the majority of its recruiting in Louisiana b/c there's not much reason to go elsewhere.

Randle
Scored a TD over the middle. Over the MLB and in front of Barron. Jackson and McClain wouldn't have changed that play. That was on Barron being out of position.

Jeffrey
Ummm, Kirkpatrick was on him for 90% of the game. Barron got beat on one of his TDs as well.
quote:

Blake
You should blame Barron for this game. He got burned on both plays (Blake & Zachery).

Bama has gotta reload with a 2008 Bama like recruiting class that's gone 47-6 so far.
This way Saban & Staff can make this next 4 year run a great one too before Saban retires to the lake.

In the 3 games Bama lost they gave up an average of 29 points and the QB's had a 200+ rating. Those numbers wouldn't look like that if Rolando and Jackson are out there. Game result may be the same, but a secondary with a vet CB like Jackson is better than one with 4 new faces. Rolando played great but he was basically a coach on the field.

Now you better hope a FG is a diff in the NCG or 9-6 isnt going to mean shite.

We beat you in your house with mainly underclassmen versus your upperclassmen, we were coached by a retard and you have Nick Saban. So LSU has less talent than Bama somehow?

Saban tried so many long FGs because you couldn't move the ball into the red zone. I don't think Saban trying a shite load of long arse FGs with one kicker who was 1 for 3 on the year and then trying a 49 yarder with a guy who's long on the year was 37 yards has anything to do with talent, or in any way proves that Bama is as talented as LSU.

ok. you have the better coach, as much or more talent and your uncles are the SEC refs but somehow you lost to a much younger LSU team at home. Makes sense to me.

IDK, do you? Its kind of hard to get a read on what the scouts feel about freshmen and sophmores.

Not really. Milliner and Mosley are already considered 1st-2nd round picks in their class. Same for Fluker.

Acting like the refs weren't giving out good calls in LSU's favor.

Milliner would be the 5th cornerback on LSU's team so I'm not exactly sure what point you are trying to make here.
