Just destroyed your credibility of ranking recruiting services. The kids are ranked on a level of 1-100 by how well they play their position, not how valuable their position is or isn't at the next level. That's the way it should be and 24/7 absolutely does it the best.
I know that's how they do it, that's why it's fvcking moronic. Why the hell is that why it should be done? The only way that could be worthwile metric is if you established the assumption that all positions are equal which they of course are not.
Some cat who's the next Vonta Leach and is a 100 at FB should in no way shape or form be the top player in the country. Not to mention the fact that 24/7 extrapolates out to a professional level. Why would a college recruiting site care how a person adapts to the professional level?

There are plenty of Clemson guys I think are too high on 247, Kitt most notably.

You forgot Kendall Baker just commit to UGA, so it's actually tied at 6.5 based on your list.
Also, Elisha Shaw will be a UGA commit.

Ah, was just going off the 247 article linked, but I def could've missed one.
Clemson likely doesn't have a chance at winning the State as per this point system, but if we snag Raekwon it will be our best GA haul by a country mile since Danny's days.

I wouldn't hold your breathe. He's Ohio State/Bama/UGA in that order.

Lol, gotta love UGA fans. He certainly might not go to Clemson, but we're not behind UGA, that's a fact.
You could believe me or read it from the player himself.
Clemson is second

If you want to take a high school kid's top 5 list at face value, be my guest. But the only teams that will end up mattering in the end are the one's I listed.

This is a SEC message board. You do not have the right to put Clemson above another SEC school like you did.

He might go elsewhere than Clemson, but just like with Nkemdiche, he's not going to UGA.
Clemson has tons of staying power with RM.

And what might Clemson offer that UGA can't?

It's not what one school might offer that the other won't. It's recruiting, some just choose one school over another.
Clemson has been on this kid as long if not longer than anyone, just like they were with Watson. No one on UGA's staff knew about Watson when Morris was watching his games each week. Now they weren't that far ahead with RM, but they've been on him as long as anyone. He's tight with all the UGA kids who are already committed to Clemson.
I'm in no way shape or form saying he's leaning to Clemson or making some grand prediction, but to say Clemson is a distant fourth is idiotic.
Posted on 7/6/13 at 6:49 pm to FootballNostradamus
Hey, don't you mean the recruiting service that Clemson pays to recruit and offer half the southeast? Surely they were the ones watching the game...Morris was likely polishing his interviewing tactics.

Wrong. We just didn't offer him until he would agree to work out in front of the UGA coaches, as is recruiting policy for Richt and Bobo when recruiting QBs. Given their track records with Greene, Shockley, Stafford, and Murray, I'd say they know what they're doing.

I thought we waited until after signing day so that we wouldn't scare off Bryce Ramsey as well.
