Freeze's first class wasn't very highly rated but he managed to get them in the top 40 after only a couple months on the job. 2Beez has been on the job about that long and has taken us from the 60s to the 30s with several good commits left on the board. I know he won't pull a top 5 next year like Freeze will here (1. doesn't have the RN factor and 2. he's not a miracle worker) but based on his recruiting work ethic so far and staff of quality recruiters (Pittman, Partridge, Shannon) I think we have a good shot at a very good class next year. In 2 months he's put more effort into recruiting than Petrino or Nutt ever did.

I think he can. Y'all have everything in place to be successful. Maybe you can get over the 5.7 3 star hump(unnecessary but I had to).

You'll probably get a jump but not like Freeze's jump.

Freeze's success has given me optimism. I think it may be too late to flip Tenpenny but Bert has locked down the rest of the state in this year's class and started on 2014 as well. This is pretty remarkable considering the Horton/Malzahn duo now at Auburn.

I just see a lot of similarities, young coaches, good staff of recruiters, bust their arse recruiting, seem to be able to relate to players.

I don't see any way that we wont have a top 15-20 class next year. It wont be OM this year good but it will be great for Arkansas standards.

Bialema won at wisconsin without ever putting together a highly rated class. Don't see why he would all of a sudden start recruiting lights out at arkansas.

Arkansas is much easier to recruit to than Wisconsin. Facilities, SEC, girls, weather and in-state talent is much better.

There's no reason not to. BB is young and motivated, y'all's facilities are second to none, and there's plenty of booster money. I think Arkansas can do it. What's the rant coming to when OM and Arky are having civil conversations?

Houston Nutt is no longer coaching at either school. It's nice being friends again. I hate when mom and dad fight.

I may need your help on a post signing day thread. It just needs some crafting.

You are in for a rude awakening if you think Pittman is a "quality" recruiter. He is a great coach and recruits off of his reputation as that, he is not an elite recruiter by any stretch of the imagination.

I'm a little confused here. So a "great coach" is able to get top rated OL recruits based off his reputation as a "great coach" alone. Is that what you're saying?

I fail to see the problem there?
