Who is the JUCO Left Tackle yall have committed? Supposedly we are going to make strong run at him if/when we lose out on Cam. He wants immediate playing time and might look around if Cam goes to Bama.

We do not have any JUCO LT committed. We have a JUCO RT committed but I guess you could convert him. Both he is being recruited to play RT for UA hence why the UA staff is wanting a LT as well.

Has anyone heard anything an LSU guy on 24/7 talking about cams mother contacted LSU and thanked them for recruiting him but respectfully asked that they stop contacting him?
Friend of mine just asked me about it and I said I hadn't seen anything on here regarding it but I don't keep up as much as a lot of y'all do.
If Germans don't hurt me too badly.

I doubt that with the manner he and his mom have handled themselves throughout the recruiting process that she would text an LSU coach, one that is not even his position coach, to stop all contact with her son. Rational individuals just do not do that. You at least get a courtesy phone call. Not to mention that this is recruiting and who knows what lies after the football season concludes. It's possible, yet highly unlikely, that neither Miles nor Saban are at their current jobs. Whether it be moving on, retiring, panic attacks, or that they decide to go for a stroll on their Harley we don't know what the future holds. So to me that rumor has very little substantial evidence that would sway one from regular rational thought.

I think its very rational. Seems like this isn't her first time texting with coaches from either team so it seems as if it is something that isn't new. Its probably more her relaying the message from her son than saying it herself anyway.

As a parent if my child had informed the staffs that they have made their decision and yet are still being hounded I do not see that as irrational. And why would it matter who his position coach is, especially since it seems Napier has had a major influence on Robinson if he does decide to come to UA. And if LSU is only using one coach to recruit the #1 player in the country maybe your fans should start questioning why the staff is doing that.
A player of his caliber probably has multiple coaches trying to recruit him and develop a relationship with him. At least any rational fan that follows college recruiting would believe that.
Right now no one really knows what his decision his and no one knows what conversations via any device has taken place. Does it look good for UA yes but until he signs and enrolls it is not over.
And FTW any rational fan knows that if Robinson did inform the LSU staff he was headed to UA that LSU would never stop until he signs. So again as irrational as it may seem to you maybe the mother does not want to chat with them anymore and feels no more needs to be said and that the courtesy now is just a text.

I think it's very rational. If it was my kid, and he acted like he had made a decision, I wld ask him if he was 100% sure. And if he said yes and I believed him, I would do the same thing so that he could focus on more important things like his final year of high school.

None of you are leaving that one window of uncertainty open. If the improbable happens souring an established relationship can effect the other party's view down the road. As a program that promotes such a "Business" mentality some of you sure do have a poor grasp of it's complete process.
