And if he goes to Alabama or LSU?

I'll be surprised if he goes to Bama.

But he seems interested for some reason. Wonder why?

Because he wanted to come here but he dinked around and waited too long and he lost a guaranteed spot. His only hope is if we miss out on JTT, and the word is that we have the momentum in that recruitment. Even if we miss out on JTT, there is still no guarantee he gets a spot. Personally, I’d take him if we miss out on JTT. He is a big time talent and much better than many receivers in the 2022 class, which isn’t as deep as the 2021 class.

Seems like a good answer to me. Hard for me to understand why you think that him going to LSU or A&M would mean he's dirty, but him going to Alabama just means he likes the Alabama program.

LSU & ATM fans are posting about LSU & A&M endeavoring to pay his dad to get him, not me. Bama doesn't need to pay anyone to sign great recruits, so why would they take the risk? They weren't willing to pay for Arik Gilbert, Bobby Brown, McKinley Jackson, Shemar Turner, Henry To'oto'o or Nakobe Dean. So I highly doubt they are to sign a 5th 2021 WR they don't really need.

I think he just doesn't know what he wants to do. Let him make his choice in peace. I mean he didn't pull a Zach Evans or anything like that

He doesn’t want to go to ATM and be an afterthought? He wants to go somewhere where they play the best players they have? He wants to go somewhere where they can throw a forward pass effectively?

Oh, I see...You're one of the deluded homers who thinks any 5 star who doesn't sign with your school was paid off, and any that did was because they see how awesome your school is. Got it.

Are you one of the deluded homers who believes no bag$ were involved in signing those recruits?

ETA: I hope BTJ does go to A&M, LSU or UGA.

Well, obviously, they must have been! After all, they didn't go to Alabama. It's been established that you think it's obvious that if a kid signs with Bama, that means no money was involved, and if a kid Bama is recruiting doesn't sign with Bama, that means they were paid off. I'm sure you're the picture of objective thinking.

Nope. I only listed a few recruits for which there was a lot of chatter about impermissible benefits swaying those recruiting wins. If you think the NCAA questioned Bo Davis about impermissible benefits, you're way off the mark on that too.

Details emerge on potential NCAA violations that led to Alabama assistant Bo Davis resigning (AL.com, 5/1/16)
quote:

Alabama defensive line coach Bo Davis resigned Friday morning, stepping down after two seasons in that role.

AL.com has learned that Davis is being investigated by the NCAA for potential impermissible contact with recruits.

According to a source familiar with details of the case, Davis is accused of visiting multiple out-of-state recruits during a period when coaches aren't allowed any contact with recruits.

The recruits in question did not end up signing with Alabama, according to the source.

The NCAA contacted Alabama's compliance office regarding the situation, and Davis was questioned and caught being dishonest before eventually resigning, according to the source.

The source compared Davis' alleged violations to the NCAA violations committed by former Florida wide receivers coach Joker Phillips in 2014. Phillips ultimately resigned from Florida, and the Gators received no further penalties from the NCAA.

Davis' contract with Alabama had been set to run through 2017 at an annual salary of $475,000.

Widely considered one of the top defensive line coaches in the country, Davis was in his second stint as Alabama's defensive line coach under Nick Saban.

I'm surprised you didn't mention any of the guys for which there was a lot of chatter about impermissible benefits who went to Alabama. But I'm sure Alabama manages to recruit better than anyone else in the nation year in and year out by NOT paying players, even while their recruiting rivals ARE paying players. Nothing delusional about believing that.

I'm still hoping that the investigations at LSU scare him off and we up our bid and get him.

Hey, buddy, if you want to think that Alabama is recruiting better than everyone in the nation despite NOT paying players even though their rivals ARE paying players, that’s up to you. It’s enormously stupid, but you believe what you want.
