Who had the best/worst recruiting classes according to the relative states of their program.

Best - LSU

The Tigers haven't had on the field success in quite a few years. Not hating on your decent seasons Tigers, but Bama has cast a pretty large shadow over your program. This year though you pulled in some absolute STUDS. Really thought we had a good chance at Dupre, but guess you can't get the #1 WR every year.

Worst - MSU

Year 5. Only managed to beat out Mizzou and Vandy. IMHO Mizzou has a MUCH better class, a lot of the under the radar type players. State lost some steam and couldn't close out with players they needed (Humphrey, Shepard, O.J., Carter). Quickly on their way back to doormat status.

If you're talking relative to the state of their program, Kentucky absolutely cleaned up after two consecutive 2 win seasons.

The Ole Miss douchebaggery today has been elevated. Even worse than last year when y'all actually did have a decent recruiting class

Ours was pretty salty this year too. Not like last year though.

So we had the worst, but we beat out people?

ETA: 17-10 with those "average players"

If losing crootin ships to you to each year, equals getting W's on the field, I'll take.

BTW: We had a small class, numbers wise, filled necessary needs. Next year will be a different story.

Best is Bama, worst is Mizzu. These are facts.

You won on a fluke play in overtime, AT HOME, with those illegal cowbells??? Beating a team who was decimated with injuries and had a QB with the flu.

Hope you enjoyed it, because that will probably be the last one for a LONG time. I think everyone outside of State fans can agree that those #40 ranked recruiting classes are about to start showing up.

Apologies to everyone who has seen this argument a million times, State fans for some reason can't accept reality. Most delusional fanbase.

Debated multiple times over putting Kentucky up there. The reason I didn't was that LSU had such an elite class, and its uncommon for that to happen with a coach who has been there for over half a decade.

Teams all the time jump up the recruiting rankings because they brought in a new coach (Tennessee and y'all this year).

Great class though you'll restore order really soon with your SEC West rival.

Was about to say, nobody really beat stoops when it comes to outdoing your program this year. Even without instates like Elam and Barker y'all pulled some solid kids.

False, Florida was decimated. Y'all were banged up. Everyone is during the last game of the season.

Our 3rd string played 3/4 of the game
