Kind of sucks that he recruited for Bama and those guys signed and now he is taking off elsewhere.

I don't think he played much of a role in us getting Davis. As for Key, he helped some, but Bob Simon paid the biggest dividends along with Key's mother not wanting him to go back to Nashville.

JJ Caldwell dominated API from beginning to end.

Ferguson didn't do much.

Not convinced Ferguson isn't overrated somewhat anyway.

That was one game. Scouts don't look at just one game.

And I didn't say he wasn't a good player.

Elite players step up their game against top level competition.

I get what you're doing, you're talking up your guy. API (Ferguson's team) plays top level competition regularly and you can't bring your A game every night. Not to mention Ferguson and Caldwell wouldn't have been guarding each other.

It would be difficult to pass up playing for Kansas.

No. I am just pointing out the fact that the sky isn't falling for you. Get over yourself.

I don't care where Ferguson goes, Texas A&M hasn't recruited him that much anyway.

And Stansbury has proven he knows a baller when he see's one.

This is the most jilted I've ever felt after a decommitment.

Most jilted I've ever been after a decommitment was when Jarran Reed committed to Ole Miss the second time then signed with Bama.

It's a hammer blow. The two we signed are very good and their stock is soaring. But losing Ferguson is devastating. No spin.

If it's Kansas, it makes sense. But if Baylor is heavily involved, then... well... you know shenanigans are going on. Very odd that he visited us Saturday and decommitted a couple days later.

Yeah because why would anybody want to go to a much better program 90 minutes from home

That's like a football player from Gadsden decommiting from Baylor to go to Bama and suggesting it was because of "shenanigans"

Or maybe the visit helped him realize he didn't like Bama as much, or he didn't want to be that far away from home.

Have heard he had a family event that may have impacted his decision.

Can't blame any recruit for taking an opportunity to play close to home.

JJ Caldwell doesn't need talking up. He will be a one and done.

You must not know much about college basketball recruiting. My reaction is about the same as most any of the major programs' (and yes, I know we're not one right now) fans when they hear Baylor is heavily involved.

I can assure you that UK and KU fans DON'T like to hear that Baylor is heavily involved in the recruitment of a certain recruit that they're targeting.

"Yeah because why anybody want to go to a much better program 90 minutes from home"

Probably for the same reasons Mustapha Herron turned down offers from several much better programs with 90 minutes of his hometown to sign with a historically sh###y program several states over instead.

I can assure you that UK fans don't sweat Baylor's involvement with a recruit. Duke is pretty much the only one I worry about, now that Carolina has fallen off the table recruiting-wise.
