LSU has #1 locked up on ESPN. So while a few thousand see 247, millions will see LSU on top all day on ESPN and its affiliates

From whom? I think the majority of intelligent fans would not argue that recruiting doesn't matter. Now, do most think there is a huge difference in the top 5 classes, probably not. Like with anything else that is as subjective as evaluating qualities that don't boil down into specific metrics, there will be groupings. As a class, the 1 and 5 classes are likely much more alike than the 5 and 15 class for example...

This guy gets it totally. I honestly don't understand why people still buy those magazines and subscribe to the recruiting sites when they all rank Bama so high every year in recruiting and Bama NEVER has any on-field results to support that high ranking.

I agree with this. They'll cover what is an absolute best of a recruiting class. You guys have done well.
And, during the season when LSU has its inevitable collapse and continues to fail to meet expectations, ESPN will be talking about LSU a lot then. They'll continue to talk about LSU a lot when you are once again - for like the 4th year in a row - talking about replacing Miles.

Well, this class is certainly going to make the Miles sunshine pumpers work extra hard if/when we lose 3 games again next year.
