he was told 2 months ago that it was a possibility & to explore options...HE EXPLORED options to get out of Mobile, like prep school, JuCo, didn't like those options, decided to wait it out & hope a spot came open...it didn't, what the teammates were referring to was that the reality set in that a spot wasn't gonna be open, he was called & told that for sure a week ago, but he & Coach Stevenson knew a few months ago that it was a likely possibility

Caps lock cause Im an e-tough guy. You can believe anything you "heard" from BamaOline. I can see that the pieces dont fit. Never expect an Updyke to do anything but hold the rope.

That was what happened, not even on BOL, his GS wasn't publicized like Taylor's because he didn't want other teams, like AU, to get back involved, he asked all he needed to know about Arky from Jamichael Winston
How does that feel?? Even former commits won't jump into the sinking ship that is AU. I guess you can always keep stealing guys from UCF huh?

Philon will be a great player for arky. He is e great player, rough around the edges, but with good coaching, will be really good. I'm glad he signed on with y'all.

Like Cam? He didn't even know the proper name of the university. Also admitted Auburn wasn't where he wanted to be. Are the Felony4 Auburn men? Are the HBO4 Auburn men?
You ppl need to grow the frick up. Philon has a wonderful opportunity at a premier football program. He might be sad but he'll get glad quick. I have clients that tell me one thing all the time and turn around and do the opposite. Do I cry about it? frick no I move on to the next opportunity. If he wanted to be at Bama so bad all he had to do was wait a few extra months. I'm sure he knew grayshirting was the option but got his hopes up until a couple of surprise guys committed today. I feel for him but he needs to man up and get ready for SEC ball. He'll have 4 opportunities to stick it to Bama.
