I put @Dematrius09 and @ShadrachBanks on my list of best QB/WR duos at No. 1 for a reason. They were in their bag today. Davis had nearly 400 yards of total offense and 7 TDs while Banks balled for nearly 300 and 2 scores.

I’m not too high on Davis but he has played well this year.

I am. He’s done nothing but play well. But he’s shorter and not a polished passer yet. I have no issue with who Jimbo went with instead.

Banks is a stud. Great we are getting a Northshore player!

Banks has been so solidly committed to A&M for so long that I think a lot of fans have forgotten about him. Dude is going to be a key part of the offensive class in an area of need. Might just play early

Was about to say . .regional semifinals.

I am wondering if Southlake can break up the Duncanville North Shore lock of the state title game. It is getting as repetitive as the BCS playoffs.

The flip side of this game was a pretty horrid performance by Alabama commit Jalen Milroe.

The North Shore defense probably had a lot to do with that but still . . . .10/22 for 50 yards.

He was probably daydreaming about that Bama OL and weapons and playing for a NC. Made the state semi-finals feel kinda blah. Gotta let him know that playing A&M, Ark, ... is important too, to get to that NC game. Focus, man, focus. Just a little ole blip.

Maybe . .his whole body of work is pretty impressive. I do totally, utterly doubt he was daydreaming about Bama. That was a plan B switch for the guy and this game had to have been incredibly hyped given the proximity of the two schools.

It is a nice woobie for him to snuggle with tonight.

It was an attempt at humor. I doubt he gave Alabama a thought. Having said that, one game usually means little.

They have to get by Trinity and Ollie Gordon first.
