I think he wants to play RB and they plan to let him try that first. Defense is an option for sure- but he will get a crack at RB first

Shumpert wants to play RB and does not want to go where Kailo is going. At OM he would be a LB and State gives him better shot to play RB.

Actually how I got into message boards. The "deltaland" account was started by my dad and used on Genespage, OMspirit and MSSportsTalk. I took the name and used it after I graduated and he quit using it.
He would always post in threads about how I was better than so and so recruit and nobody ever knew it was my dad

It's not so crazy to think a recruit's parents would post on a messageboard. Hell, we had Jason Croom's mom all over ours when we were recruiting him and she was all over the UT boards as well.
I also know MSU player's family who post here.

We have a ton of kids to play safety, Nickoe, Arrington, and Brandon Wells are just a few. This is a big pickup and he will play RB, we didn't take one in last years class and he is the only one this year.

The OP came from Georgia because Ashton's Dad is in the military in GA... I have nothing but respect for #RebelNation.. Coach Freeze and his staff are absolutely a wonderful group of guys. The decision to choose #HailState was 100% Ashton's choice... How about we join both schools so we can all be happy?? Not gonna work?? Didn't think so.. lol

As an Ole Miss fan, I really hope you guys play Shumpert at RB. Bank on him playing defense though. I don't care who you do or do not have. I watched him all year.
