Because they have played 70 times and the series is only separated by 5 games. Not to mention, since the big 12 formed, TT is 11-6 against program 1.

Really? Tech has played the University of Houston 17 times since the end of the SWC?
Program 1- UH, Program 2- Baylor, Program 3- A&M
Tech's would look even worse on paper, they have never had a single Heisman winner.
But thanks, you proved my point. You underestimated UH's history like you underestimate A&M's history when you say it is on the same "tier" as a Baylor or Tech.

Speaking of Savage, check out all that talent A&M has in action:
JFF signing autographs for money and breaking NCAA rules
Floyd Raven suspended last summer for assault
Deshazor Everett suspended last summer for assault
Steven Jenkins suspended for breaking athletic department rules
Gavin Stansbury suspended for breaking athletic department rules
Edward Pope suspended for breaking athletic department rules
Kirby Ennis suspended for arrest
De'vante Harris suspended for breaking athletic department rules
Kameron Miles kicked off the team for bad behavior
Isiah Golden arrested for weed
Darrian Claiborne arrested for weed and disorderly conduct
Speedy Noil was with the above two but was let go
Kenneth Marshall and Jordan Richmond last fall for drugs
Kenny Hill arrested for public intoxication
RSJ arrested
SWAG COPTER!!! VROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM

aTm winning 3 national titles before WWII don't have much significance today. The fact the series b/w Tech and aTm is so close and since both joined the Big 12 is heavily in TT's favor, shows me they are the same tier.

Agreed, that is why I posted a complete profile of each to get a better idea of overall program success.

And yet you put Baylor on that exact same tier, even though Baylor only beat A&M twice in the Big 12 Era.
So what matters when you are making tiers, long-term history or Big 12 performance?
To me it seems like you are using a completely arbitrary set of standards when you are establishing these tiers, that shifts to be whatever they need to be to keep A&M in the same bucket as a Tech or Baylor.
My point is not that we belong on the same tier as Texas or that tiers make sense. As I said, I don't think they make sense for this state and Tech's Leach run in the Big 12 proves that.
My point is that that a program with a better history, better access to fans/resources, and got a completely independant invite to the SEC belongs on a different tier, if we have to make tiers, than two programs that will need Texas to play nice to have a place at the big boy table in a post-Big 12 future.
You tell us that we should accept our place, and that our place is at your level. Sorry, that is just wrong.

I bet if they lived on campus and weren't allowed to do a thumbs up sign they wouldn't be causing so much trouble

The Big 12 (now Little 10) existed only for a short period of time which also coincided with A&Ms worst years in Modern CFB history. So that's cherry-picked data. A better comparison would be Tech v A&M since scholarship limits (aka the Modern CFB era) since they were both also SWC teams.

The only reason you say it existed for a "short period of time" (A&M was a part of it for 14 years, by the way) was because aggy was terrible. "Cherry picked??" Sorry for "cherry picking" the last two decades of your program.
But I'm sure we all remember the good ole boys playing back in the 1920s, when helmets didn't have facemasks and the goalposts were cows.
Sweet aggy logic.

Your basketball team had a member who murdered his teammate, and then the fricking coaches lied during the police investigation to try and avoid NCAA penalties.
There is literally nothing that anybody in our athletic department has ever done that is as terrible as that.

Ah well he was defending Baylor like a Baylor fan.

Like it or not The Bears have a rock rolid athletic department.
Baseball, Basketball, Women's Basketball, and football are very good.

Yeah he's been doing it throughout this thread. It's kind of strange given the skullfrickings they've received from Baylor

Hey I am not taking anything away from Baylor. I posted facts.
I am glad yall have had some success in football finally and won your first Big 12 title. I know some Baylor fans, and I am glad they have something to cheer for.
I didn't create the tiers. You created the tiers, and you put Baylor on the same tier as A&M and basically said "Deal with it."

Don't sleep on Baylor. Art Briles is a great coach and they have a lot of talent this year, especially at the skill positions and at receiver.
This isn't the Baylor you knew from your days in the Big 12.

Meant skill positions and quarterback. Apologies. But Bryce Petty looks like the real deal. Between him and RGIII, they have had some real difference makers of late.

You have no common sense or reading comprehension.
14 years is a short period of time.
Leather helmets? I specifically stated the Modern Era, and defined that as post-scholarship limits.

And we aren't the A&M you knew from our days in the Big 12 or SWC.
Oh course you will laugh at that and think we are still same old aggy, which is completely understandable.
Just a slight amount of argument consistency would reveal that picking on A&M fans for underachieving is a joke when you root for the most underachieving program in America. Can't have that.
