I hate how gay people act like there rights fight is like the civil rights fight between blacks and whites. They're queers and homos, it's supposed to be kept in the closet

So says every single poll that's been published on the topic.
And the photos you posted were weak. Yell Leaders aren't gay; on the contrary, they pull more tail than anyone on campus.
Friends hugging after a student government election isn't gay.
A person wearing a gay wristband--s/he's very likely a gay person or gay supporter.
A fat guy posing for a selfie and another dork jumping for one? Stupidly lame, but not homosexual.
The kiss … absolutely gay.

I never said we don't have gay students at Texas A&M. We most definitely do; and they're treated respectfully. But like it or not, that lifestyle is not institutional on the Texas A&M University campus, in the manner that it is on the UTex campus.

You can find that same crap for any school in the SEC. Or Texas, for that matter. The homos are running a good PR campaign, but that's all it is.

I never cared much about civilian students at A&M until the GSSO (Gay Student Services Organization) episode in my days. The GSSO announced that some particular day was "Blue Jean Day: Wear your blue jeans to show your support for the GSSO". It didn't affect the Corps in any way, of course, but for everybody else they might as well have said "Breathe air if you support the GSSO."

A couple of the male civilian dorms got together and produced many thousands of T-shirts that read "No queer is getting me out of my blue jeans". Those shirts were everywhere. It was beautiful. I laughed my butt off all day long, and definitely developed a new respect for civilian students.

College station is a shite hole! Your college sucks a bag-o-dicks! ( like your gay leaders )

And this "we are winning in recruiting" yet another moral victory! Like the mythical championships on the stadium wall.
The rest of the SEC has taken notice of the cries from your fan base "we are ______! Look at us!" Your delusional , pathetic, and just down right fricking ignorant! The only people that think that gay&m is awesome is..... well only a&m homers!

TEXAS hands down better than your "glory hole" of a school!

Oh wait ... I know, you guys are just killing it in recruiting!

Honestly UT's campus is in a shitty part of town. Literally Hobo haven, weirdos galore right across the street on the drag. And if you're not living in West Campus or oncampus as a student, you'll probably live in a less than desirable place. 6th St for a college kid is a tad bit overrated. Most of the time youre only going to the bars on the area around the intersection of San Jacinto and 6th, which is a size comparable to A&M's northgate. But Austin is an amazing city and I understand the allure. Me personally I love visiting friends in Austin, its always a blast.

But from a recruit's perspective in the present, I would definitely choose A&M. Especially if I were an offensive player. A&M is on the upswing, and plays in the SEC. We will have excellent facilities and a brand new stadium. Plus A&M has had more 1st round NFL Draft picks than UT in recent years. And the other factor for recruits is that they dont have to live on campus. Housing is remarkably more cheaper in Cstat, so they can use their stipends for "other activities" hahaha

But the truth is and most Ag's dont want to acknowledge this, is that the momentum can swing back to UT very, and I mean very quickly, if they win 10 games/andor the B12.

Most Ags have zero problem acknowledging that.
But it's not going to happen immediately; nor is Kevin Sumlin going away.

Thank you for that shining example of BAS. :golfclap:

ETA: Easy to spot Aggies that weren't around when we ran this state throughout the mid 80s and early 90s.

It's inevitable, once a ragtag group of orange undesirables (e.g., Txsbigeasy1) slithers in.

He's partially right, but ignores the impact of the SEC and Sumlin and facility improvements and yadda yadda yadda. There ain't no going back. I really don't see A&M competing against Texas for recruits any more. It's LSU and 'Bama.
