I hate to sound like a douche, but I'm kind of happy that we got fewer WRs and more defensive line/Linebackers than we anticipated.
We need bodies on defense. Lots of them. We never needed a DGB to have the best passing game in the SEC. Would have loved having him, but our biggest needs have been defense for the past 3 years.

I think it all worked out well in the end assuming we get diamond. I'll take more linemen over more skill dudes any day.

Dang, folks! I am disappointed just like you are that an 18 year old kid made a 'less than the best' decision, but it's not time to jump off the ledge.
I am encouraged by this class, it looks pretty good on paper. You never know though until a few years down the road. We can't call it a bust, or great, until later.
I am satisfied with the progress of the program under CBmfP at this point. We haven't had this kind of success in YEARS. Enjoy it!

Well, Slim, ha ha... We've had the box since they first got built in RRS. Frank Broyles gave my dad the option to buy before they were built while play golf with Frank at Augusta. Frank ended up having so many requests they decided to lease them instead and we've had one since the first box was built into RRS.
We've had a skybox since 1985.
We also had another skybox in Bud Walton 1993, obviously we had first choice being one of the very first to get a box in RRS many, many years priors. We got rid of the basketball box after I finished college and it was a good move. We have never recovered in basketball yet.

No shite. Without a run game/ dominant O-Line, having one great receiver is virtually meaningless in the SEC.
I heard people bitching yesterday about how 20% of our class is WRs, even with what we had waiting in the wings.

I've openly question the need for this many receivers....It seems we want to be as deep at receiver as we are on the lines if not deeper and that just won't get it done against the good teams.
