First of all, I never said DGB was the end all be all for our NC apirations. He would an amazing get for publicity and talent, but our receiving corps can hold their own. Do I wish we could get 4 and 5 star athletes to flock to the ville from all corners of the US? Yes. Do I think we have serious ground to make up when it comes to LSU and Alabama? Yes. All I am saying, is that you are bashing the talent evaluation of a coaching staff, and then you give us a comparison of MATT JONES to CAM MF NEWTON! You can't be serious!

Well since this topic isn't going away and i'm bored here's my opinion.
we just went to our 3rd bowl game in a row. That's right 4 years ago we weren't good enough to break even with our schedule. That is bad. Everyone forgets that and just wants to say look two 10 win seasons we're the elite now. Well i got news for everyone we aren't. We have improved our position a lot. However we still have a long way to go. What we need to happen is to keep playing like we have been.
Losses to Bama or LSU when they are good are just fine however we need to sneak a win from bama and we need to take one from LSU. Also we need for Bama and LSU to stay as elite as they are now. This way we get the street cred of being the only team that can compete with these two powerhouses.
I also think if we are going to need to keep getting better recruiters at any point where there is staff turnover. I think we did great on defense as far as recruiting goes. I think our OC hire was a comfort hire for petrino, however paul is just an average recruiter in my opinion.
Winning will solve most all problems. If we go undefeated then we instantly jump way up the charts.
