re: Request access to Arkansas board

Gracias amigo. Glad to be back
Really appreciate this! I almost broke down and paid for the channel through UVERSE. I think it was going to cost me an extra $10/month. Thank jaysus for the interwebs and true gentlemen like you!
I've lived in Little Rock my entire life and hate to see the LSU game go but I think the LSU fans will be pleasantly surprised by Fayetteville. If you ask my family in Louisiana, you would think F'ville is the damn rocky mountains!
I like that we have Bama and LSU at home, but it seems like the kind of year where we could beat Bama and then turn around and lose to Auburn. JLS scares the hell out of me. Hopefully he will hold true to his, "try not to screw it up" motto and just let the coordinators do their thing.
He's lucky he only lost $550m as bad as the large home market is in NW Arkansas.

It's actually not black. More like a charcoal or slate gray.
Alshon looks like a different person since he trimmed up. If he can stay at that weight he is going to be a great NFL receiver.

I got to stand up for Branson...since I live here now and enjoy it. Great schools, Table Rock Lake, 8 golf courses to play (I live on one) and two others are tops in the state.

Played Payne Stewart last year and it was great. Love the set up. Hopefully their greens are doing a little better this year. They were starting to lose the edges of some of the lower ones.
Went to HS with her. Know her family well.

not really. Barkley is alot better.

I agree that he is more talented. I was just using the style of quarterback as a comparison.

I won't disagree but I think that it's more important what a QB can do in the pocket.

I would also agree with you here. TW is definitely no slouch in the pocket, but is not there with Barkley yet.

Out of all the Hog fans on here, you sir are the only one I have seen who thinks this way.

I just call 'em like I see 'em.

I do think Gragg has tremendous upside and I think he will be a solid NFL tight end. He has the size and speed, just needs another year at tight end. Also, he is a great kid and a hard worker. Those attributes are often over looked, and teams pay for it.

Wilson is the nations best QB prospect by far going into the year, very week QB class.

Over Barkley? Not a chance.

Barkley is very similar to Mark Sanchez. Pretty boy quarterback who is very robotic. Barkley has the best pocket mechanics, but when a play breaks down, there aren't many as good as Tyler Wilson. He doesn't have to be "set" in the pocket to make an accurate pass. I think his baseball background gives him an edge on making hard, off-balance throws. Plus, there are toughness questions with Barkley, and I don't think anyone will question TW's toughness. Barkley is a better pure pocket passer and will probably get drafted higher. If Aaron Murray was a couple of inches taller, he would easily be in that conversation. NFL scouts get a little too caught up in measurables. If he slips in the draft he would be a very solid pick up.

The uninformed homer who told you he was the #1 TE prospect for next year's draft is a retard. He is very talented and has the measurables but has to produce on the field. If he plays well this year he will move up most people's board. He would have to really break out to move that high. With how much we spread the ball around, that might be tough.

They should both be solid pros. Neither have freakish measurables but both are high character guys who work hard. Alos, it's kind of cool that they have been on the same team their entire football careers. Middle school to the NFL.
I agree with this to a certain extent. Hiring an interim coach helps this year because the staff stays intact and the players are happy. I assume Jeff Long went after some big name type coaches but none of them were interested in retaining the entire staff for one year. If he couldn't get a top rated nationally known coach, then he would obviously be left with the unproven/upstart coaches on the next tier down. At that point you may as well wait and get them next year.

10-2 would be a disappointment to me this season after the expectations.

I'm a die hard Arkansas fan but you can't be serious with this...I agree we should be pretty good next year but even if the Petrino thing doesn't happen, we still have some issues defensively. Secondary will be VERY thin plus we are inexperienced at LB. Talented, but inexperienced. Just because we get LSU/Bama in the ville does not mean they are guaranteed W's and every other game is a cupcake. USCe will be tough on the road as well as Auburn. A&M could give trouble in a hostile enviroment but they lost a lot and have a new coach.

All that said, 14-0.

What makes anyone think he would be a good college HC? Seems like his name always pops up in any coaching vacancy of note that comes up, it's annoying.

Umm...Obviously it's the butt cut brah.
