Arkansas men’s basketball head coach Mike Anderson announced Thursday that 6-3 guard Daryl Macon has signed a National Letter of Intent (NLI) to join the Razorbacks and will transfer from Holmes Community College for the 2016-17 season. Macon is ranked the No. 3 junior college transfer in the 2016 class, with a 93 percent composite rating by 247Sports.

At Holmes Community College (Miss.), Macon averaged 23 points, 4.1 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game as a freshman. He shot 46.5 percent from the field, 36.9 percent from beyond the arc and 88.5 percent from the foul line, which was fourth in the NJCAA. He had four 30-point efforts, including a career-high 32 three times in the first nine games of the season.

I'll take 88% from the ft line.

What's the deal with you guys taking so many juco players? Losing a lot of starters? I know we took 2 because we will lose up to 5 players after this season, I was wondering why you guys took so many. They all seem pretty good

We lost Portis and Qualls to the NBA and two other senior starters to graduation, then had 3 players arrested and one has already been kicked off. On top of that one of our two recruits for this year didn't qualify.

So basically we need some instant impact guys

Yeah him and Fox will be a package deal together me thinks (and not the "bad" kind of package deal)

I think Monk wants to play with an elite PG

Unless Fox is some how coming to Arkansas, they're not going to be a package deal.

Monk's last visit was Ark a few weeks ago, per reports close we sealed the deal.

Still be surprising if it isn't Ark, probably moreso now than ever before.

What's wrong with that post? He said if Alex goes to Miami tall are fricked. No statement saying he was a Miami lock, which it looked like because his mom ran away with a LOI

He's bitching about me saying dropping Kaleb Blanchard in general was a bad move. Which obviously they would be in great shape right now if, like my post said, Alex Collins didn't go to Arkansas, they would have 1 RB, who's actually a FB in Kody Walker.

He was pissed we cut his boy Kaleb and threw a fit about it.

Turns out our coaches know more about a prospect and our roster than thunderbird. But thunderbird thought he knew better and said we were dumb for cutting him
